"Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked with anyone else."

I walked into Condor Studios, feeling slightly upset. Why? Connor cheated on me.

Connor had been my boyfriend for almost 4 weeks. We had gone on several dates and I was convinced that he really liked me. Well, I was wrong. I went to go get a coffee from Starbucks and I saw him sucking face with some blond slut. I went up to him and slapped him in the face. Guess what he did? The second I walked away, his lips were attached to the blond's.

I made my way to my dressing room and shut the door. I took a seat in front of my vanity and sighed. I stared at my reflection and saw Tawni's door open and someone who wasn't Tawni come in.

"Hey Sonnaay!" Chad yelled. I rolled my eyes and rested my head on my hand, supported by my elbow.

"Go away Chad." I replied.

"Why? What's got you all gloomy today? Aren't you supposed to be sunny, Sonny?" He chuckled at his own lame joke. "See what I did there?"

"I'm not in the mood." He looked at me quizzically in the mirror. He kneeled next to me.

"What's wrong?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Nothing."

"Sonny, I know you well enough to know that something's up. What happened?" I sighed, giving up.

"My ex-boyfriend Connor cheated on me yesterday. I saw him kissing some blond girl when I went to get some coffee." I could feel hot tears prick the back of my eyes, but I forced them away. I was not going to cry in front of Chad. Chad wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Obviously, he doesn't deserve you. Any guy that cheats on you, Sonny, isn't worth it. I'm sure you could do much better. You don't need him!" Chad comforted me and I couldn't help but smile. And not to mention, I liked the feeling of his arm around me. He is a lot nicer than Connor ever was.. Sonny! Stop. You can't just use Chad as a rebound guy. Thing is.. I'm not.

"Chad, that's really sweet. Thank you." I turned around so I could face him. "It means a lot." He smiled at him and my heart might've skipped a beat.

"Hey, no problem. Anything to see Sonshine smile again." He replied and I grinned. I leaned over and hugged him. He froze for a second but I soon felt his arms wrap around me as well. I smiled.

"Don't get so upset over this boy, Sonny. I'm probably a lot hotter than him anyway." Chad whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine.

"You wish, Chad." I whispered back. I pulled back.

"Fine. Let me see a picture then." He demanded. I took my phone out of my pocket.

"Fine." I replied.

"Good."

"Good."

I scrolled through my pictures and found a picture of Connor and I and showed it to Chad. He scoffed and laughed afterwards.

"Him? I know him. I went to school with him. Douche." I had to laugh. "And he's not hotter than me."

"Whatever you say, Chad." I put my phone away.

"Thanks for agreeing. I'm using this against you." I rolled my eyes.

"I never agreed. Ever heard of sarcasm?" He nodded.

"Yes. I didn't detect any sarcasm in that sentence, so I am now going to use it against you." I shrugged.

"Fine."

"Fine."

"Good."

"Good."

"Good and goodbye. I have rehearsal in 15 minutes." I pushed him towards the door.

"Bye Sonshine." He called over his shoulder.

"Oh Chad?" He turned around. "Thanks. For everything. You definitely made my day." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Anytime Murnoe. If you want that guy's ass kicked. Just call." He turned on his heel and walked away. I smiled at his retreating figure and shut my dressing room door.

Who cares about that Connor kid anyway? Chad's always a call away.
