It was her first job interview. She was ready.
"So, Miss Daidouji...is that your maiden name or are you married?"
"Married." She responded, fidgeting with her ring.
"I see..." The interviewer said, writing it down on a yellow legal pad.
"You're qualified for this, actually...I just need to ask you a few questions."
"Sure." Mayura said, playing with her hair.
"Do you know how to use a gun?"
"Yes." She'd learned.
"Can you wield any other weapons?"
"Um, I haven't really tried, but I've always been told I could if I wanted..."
"Do you know self-defense or any form of martial arts?"
"Yes, I took a self-defense class a few years back."
"You do know this job could put your family in danger? It says here you have two children..."
"Don't worry, they are definitely fine..."
"Well, then I think that's all I had to ask. We'll have to test your gun skills before we accept you, as well as make sure you pass the physical, but I have one question first..."
"Sure, go ahead." Mayura said.
"Do you believe in the occult?"
Mayura's right eye twitched quite a bit. "Eh...no." She said, as her hand began to twitch too. 'Fushigi mysteries...' Her mind whispered. 'Tell him about aliens, ghosts, witches, flying monkeys...' She suddenly blurted out, "YES, SO MANY FUSHIGI MYSTERIES! AHHH!" She yelled. "I BELIEVE IN THEM ALL-ALL OF THEM, YOU HEAR!"

"So then he called security." She said cheerfully. "It's too bad, this time I really thought I could finish the interview without talking about a fushigi mystery."
"Mayura...why don't you just become a private detective?"
"I AM. I just need a job for my NORMAL self."
Loki sighed, brushing a hand through his blonde hair. "Why? Because you're a superhero?"
"Super...detective."
"And what is your super detective NAME?"
"...I never thought about that..."
"Mm hmm."
"...Briliant and beautiful detective woman? Fushigi detective?"
"I was kidding..." Sweatdrop.
"No, wait I have it!"
"And what is it?"
"Mayura Daidouji, brilliant and beautiful detective of the Enjaku Agency!"
"Mayura, it's not a secret identity if it's your superhero name..."
"Why not? That's what I thought! So it's settled!"
"Master Loki, Mayura always love mysteries?" Ecchan asked.
"Yep. Always. Her favorite thing in the world...only thing she can talk about. Right, Mayura?"
Now able to hear Ecchan and the others, Mayura smiled. "Nah, I like you more...but not by much!"
