Chapter 1:

Several people walked into the door of the conference room. It was dimly lit. There was tension in the air. They all took their seats and looked at the chair at the end of the table. It was turned toward the wall.

"Chairman Wesker." said one of the men.

The chair turned slowly around. Sitting in the chair was a man dressed in a black suit and black glasses. His blond hair was slicked back. "Yes?" said Wesker.

"You called us in here?" asked another of the men.

"Yes I did." answered Wesker. "I want to know the status of all projects. As you know living in this underground facility isn't easy and resources are low. I need to know what is expendable."

The men looked at each other. Knowing what Wesker meant by expendable.

"Well who is starting?" asked Wesker.

One of the men opened their folder. "Well Project Menot is having some setbacks but.."

"What is the goal of this project?" asked Wesker. "If its having setbacks its probably not worth wasting resources."

The man began to sweat. His hands shook slightly. "It is a repellent of the undead. That way we are able to leave the facility and get things we may need."

Wesker turned his head slightly toward the man. "The project shall not be continued." He turned his head back to the entire group. "I want to know any project that will get us out of this facility and terminate the undead at least here in Japan. I want to know how Project Aftermath is going."

A man opened a folder. "Project Aftermath is going good, but slowly."

"Reasoning?" asked Wesker.

"Limited workforce." answered the man.

"Explain the project to me Dr. Mallard." said Wesker in a slightly interested voice.

"We are growing a synthetic humanoid." said Dr. Mallard.

"And how will this be beneficial?" asked Wesker.

"Well this android will be obedient, strong, accurate, smart, and the best part is he cannot be infected." answered Dr. Mallard

Wesker had a look of integument on his face. "And your sure of this?"

"Yes." answered Dr. Mallard. "We have injected the virus directly into him and he didn't change. He remained completely the same. He can wipe out the infection on the island at least."

"I want to see him." demanded Wesker.

"Absolutely." answered Dr. Mallard. "Right this way."

Everyone in the room stood and exited the room. They made their way to the lab that Project Aftermath had been taking place.

They stood in front of a glass tube containing the specimen.

"This is him?" asked Wesker.

"Yes." replied Dr. Mallard. "He will be a killing machine under your complete control."

Wesker smiled. "I like that. I want all scientists working with Dr. Mallard on Project Aftermath."

Authors Notes: Well it may be short but its just a slight introduction for the first chapter. I hope there is some interest. The world is similar to how it would have been after the Resident Evil Extinction movie
