I know how it feels

To be in your place

To feel lost and scared and lonely

Like you can't keep up the pace


Like your singled out and different

Among diamonds your still coal

And most every time your needed

You feel like your not in control


And you haven't quite grown up yet

A child you'll still be

And I remember when the child

Used to be just me


Your growing up and you learning
