Dominico came home after the long weekend sleepover at his cousin Lucretia's house. Nero noticed the boy placing his hand over the left side of his chest every time he bent over to do something , or reach over his head to get something from high up . Was he hurt , did something happen to Nico that Kadaj and Elana didn't call him about? Suddenly a terrifying thought entered Nero's mind.

" Dominico come here . I want to see something"

Dominico walked across the living room and stood in front of his " mommy" a questioning look on his face. Nero lifted the boy's shirt . His eyes widened in alarm and he flew to the phone , calling Kadaj's house .

The phone rang for what seemed like forever before Kadaj finally answered .

"Hello?"

" DON'T YOU HELLO ME KADAJ VALENTINE!. How ? How could you let this happen to him ?"

"Nero relax , it just a peircing!" Kadaj said trying not to laugh at the panic in his little brother's voice.

" Just a peircing! You peirced his nipple for Goddess sake! Do you know what people are gonna think when they see that?! They are gonna think he is easy! That he will hop into bed with anyone! That he..."

" Nero , where do you get your information ? It doesn't mean any of those things. He saw my peircing and wanted one too . It's body jewelry , that's all" Kadaj said , the laughter finally bubbling through.

Nero took a deep breath trying to calm himself . " Kadaj if he wanted a peircing so bad , why didn't you peirce his ear?"

" Well you aren't very observant . I peirced his ear too" Kadaj said calming his laughter.

" What!? For Goddess sake , my son is not a pin cusion . What is wrong with you?! You couldn't pick up the phone and call me first , BEFORE you subjected my baby to torture?!" Nero exclaimed , panic setting in again.

" Oh stop Nero . He wanted those peircings . I probably should have called you first , yes I agree with that . I'm sorry you are right about that . But at the end of the day they are just peircings . If you feel that badly about it when they heal I will remove them ok? Now can you please refrain from having a stroke , or making my eardrums bleed ?" Kadaj said trying to calm his little brother down . Honestly Nero was way too over protective of Dominico sometimes.

Nero thought for a moment . " Ok Kadaj . If he wants it that badly he can keep it. But please , in the future would you call me before a needle touches his skin?'

''Sure Nero no problem." Kadaj said hanging up the phone and turning to Elana.

" Maybe you were right I should have called Nero first , before I peirced Dominico's nipple ." Kadaj said a thoughtful look on his face , before he started to laugh. " I just hope Nico doesn't wear low cut jeans and bends over in front of Nero for a while"

Elana looked at her husband " Why? What did you do Kadaj?"

" Ummm nothing " he said as the phone began to ring again .

This time Elana answered it ." hello?"

" I'm gonna kill him! A tramp stamp! " Nero screeched

Elana turned to pass the phone to Kadaj but he was gone . Perhaps in hiding for the rest of the year.
