Hey all! So I haven't written a Ryo/Rika story in a while. I just got this new laptop, and MS Word is not yet installed so this was written without the power of the computer to spell check and grammar check and all that jazz. So I apologize in advance! This is just a cute Conversation ficlit, Nothing heavy.

Oh, and I do not own Digimon, or any of their wonderful colourful characters.

Name Calling

"Could you not?"

"Could I not what?"

"Oh, I don't know, talk to me without calling me anything other than my actual name?"

"I could."

"But you won't."

"I never said that."

"Lets be honest, you will never call me by my name will you?"

"Listen, if I were to be calling you by your actual given name, you would think it was weird."

"Enlighten me. Why on earth would hearing my birth name coming out of your mouth be weird?"

"Simple, because I've kept up with my fond names for you for such a long time now, calling you anything elese would be awkward."

"Calling me 'Rika' would be awkward?"

"For me, no, but for you yes."

"Becuase?"

"Because you've reconzied my voice. Now when you hear me speak, you expect me to call you 'Pumpkin' or 'Wildcat'. You'd just be utterly baffled if I called you anything else."

"Baffled huh?"

"Baffled, one hundred percent."

"You know, you as a whole 'baffles' me."

"I have the answer of why I baffel you as well if you're interested."

"Oh really? You a shrink now? Up in my head and what not?"

"Nope. I just know I get to you."

"And how my I ask, do you know that?"

"Easy. You love me."

"Get over your self, not everyone is in love with you."

"Ah, see I didn't say everyone was in lov with me. I said you were in love with me."

"Well, along with the rest of the planet, I am not in love with you."

"Don't worry. It's alright if you don't know it your self right now, but you'll see soon enough, that you are in fact in love with me."

"I'm sorry, but how could I not know my own feelings? I'm pretty sure I'd know if I was ever in love with anybody."

"You'd be surpised."

"No, I don't think I would. Anyways, I know my feelings about you. They're as plain as day."

"And they are?"

"You are an annoying twit of a person that lacks knowlage of personal space and disregards the wishes of your friends."

"I don't know if we're on the same page here, but I translated that as, 'I love you'."

"Ugh, you don't make any sense! Please just leave me alone."

"Alright you're home now, I guess I will leave you alone. See you tomorrow Wildcat."

"I might be sick tomorrow."

"Well if you're not, I will be more than happy to walk you home."

"Go away."

"I'll see you tomorrow!"

"..."

"Hello Gandma, how was your day?"

"Oh it was alright dear. I couldn't help but over hearing your conversation with Ryo."

"You mean the lost puppy that follows me around every where?"

"Yes. If anything, I think he's at least growing on you."

"Very funny Grandma."

"Just think about. I'll go get us some tea."

"..."

"He may be growing on me. But just a little!"
