Hello. I noticed that hardly anyone talks about the older generation of Cahills. So, I decided to step up to the plate and write some drabbles about them.

Each one I write will be on different people. I won't tell you who they're about, for a little guessing game.

They will have 139 words, exactly. I hope I counted this right...

Read on, dear friend.

Nothing

No one knew why. No one knew the reason as to why she married him. Not the real, true reason.

Everyone said, "You two look perfect together!" or, "You two are like a fairytale!"

On the outside, you two would smile. Thanking everyone, acting all lovey-dovey. You two were the golden couple. The Snow White and Prince Charming.

In their eyes, your love was absolutely perfect.

Yet, you two knew that it wasn't true. You two never fought. You two acted perfectly around each other with respect. But there was no love.

The spark, the heart-racing beat, the perfect love that everyone claimed you had- it never even existed.

You two married for economical and social gain. For the crowd and the spotlight. Nothing else. Nothing more.

It's funny. You two had everything- but also nothing.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing at all.

Well, what did you think? Did you think it was terrible? Passing? Good?
