Just A Tad Bit Crazy
Kevin's dark eyes scanned the room for his wrench. Nowhere. He sighed, and then looked up from the floor.
"You see my wrench?" He asked the redhead on the couch.
"No sorry. I'm reading." She replied, her face half way popped out of a book.
"It's ok." Kevin continued his search. "You sure you didn't look up just once, and see me set it somewhere?"
"I'm sure Kevin." Kevin sighed at Gwen's answer. Then walked to the back of the garage where the tools hung. No sign. Now Kevin was getting frustrated. He grunted and went back to fixing his car.
About two hours later Ben walked into the garage. His shoes squeaked on the pavement as he entered.
"Tennyson! You see my wrench anywhere?" Kevin said from under the car.
Ben chuckled. "Uh Kev, wiggle your foot."
"Why would that help?" Kevin asked. Then Gwen giggled, she also noticed why Kevin had to wiggle his foot.
"Just wiggle it." Gwen said.
So Kevin wiggled his foot and heard a clingy sound. His wrench. "It was there…the whole time?"
Gwen giggled. "I guess so."
"Wait, he was looking for it earlier?" Ben asked
"Yes." Kevin said, not happy with himself.
Ben busted out laughing. "You're going crazy. Well, not like you already are…"
Gwen smiled and walked up to Kevin who was sitting in front of his car. "Don't worry Kevin, you're not entirely crazy. Maybe 67%, then 11% sweet, 11% cute and 11% funny." Then she hugged him, and he kissed her forehead.
"Thanks"
