"You got a bad case of Fae Flu," Lauren concluded, "Don't worry, it's not fae-tal." She laughed at her own joke.

Evony coughed, unable to use her voice. She blamed Trick. He was sick last week and the Ash and the Morrigan had a meeting of some territory matter.

"Purple pill, every four hours, four times a day. Blue pill, every three hours, five times a day. White pill, every six hours, three times a day. Pink pill, take two every time, once a day before you go to bed.…" Not sure if Lauren was just mumbling or Evony's brain was not working. Evony stared blankly.

Lauren noticed that too, "Is there anyone you trust that can take care of you in the next two weeks?" She doubted it. It didn't seem like Evony had any friends.

Evony took out her phone and dialled a number and passed the phone to Lauren.

"Hey Evony. What's up? I haven't heard from you for ten years." The call was almost picked up instantly and a cheerful woman's voice appeared from the other side.

"Hi, I am not Evony. I am Dr. Lauren Lewis. I am calling for Evony. She is sick and she needs someone to take care of her," Lauren felt awkward.

"I am coming over, right now." She hung up.

Ten seconds later, Evony's phone rang.

"Hey, this is Psyche, Evony's sister. You called earlier," It's the same woman.

"Yes, I remember your voice," Lauren said.

"623 Vaugier Street, right?" Psyche asked.

"Yes," Lauren answered and Psyche hanged up again.

Fifteen minutes later, a beautiful goddess with dirty blond hair and amber eyes showed up at the penthouse apartment door. She let herself in. She had the key, "Hi." She looked like Evony, but she was different. She was perky and nice. She walked toward the living room. "Oh Evony. You must be Dr. Lewis. Thank you for taking care of my sister." Evony was resting on the couch and Lauren was arranging the pills on the coffee table.

"Oh, it was nothing. I work for her. It's part of the job description," Lauren said, "So the instruction is taped to the pill bottle. Don't take the pills on empty stomach."

"As in real food? Or the artists?" Psyche asked.

"Both," I guess, Lauren thought to herself, "Great to meet you, I have to go." As much as Evony's sister may interest her, she didn't want to stay. Sick Evony had a lot of extra complaints.

The next time Evony had her memory, it was three days later, in her room. She opened her eyes and a man doing a painting of her naked figure on a canvas.

"You are awake," Psyche entered the room, with a tray of hot porridge.

"What the fuck." Evony covered herself with the sheet.

"Franco, can you give us a minute?" Psyche said to the artist, then she turned to Evony. "You got up earlier to use the bathroom, but then you puked on your clothes, so I did your laundry."

She had no memory of that. "And the painter?" Evony raised her eyebrows.

"Then I saw your well-tuned body and decided to get Franco here to paint and feed you," Psyche stuck her tongue out, "Now, eat your food and your medicine." She placed the tray on Evony's lap and Evony picked up the spoon.

"Tastes exactly like Mother's," She liked it.

"I am so glad you called me when you needed me," Psyche said, "You are not angry at me anymore, right?"

Evony didn't reply. She just chowed down the porridge and took the pills.

"You can go now, I am feeling much better," Evony coughed.

"No, you are not. You are still having a fever," Psyche placed her hands on Evony's forehead, "I shouldn't have left you naked. You need hot soup, thick clothing and lots of sleep." She tossed Evony her newly washed pyjama.

She stood up, but went light-headed and fainted onto her bed.

"Dr. Lewis sure gave you some strong medicine," Psyche helped Evony put on her clothes.

"Oh sis," Evony adjusted her body to make Psyche's job easier. The medication had started to blur Evony's conscious, "You are such a doormat."

"I know, I know," She tucked Evony in.

"Why don't we hang out anymore?" Evony asked.

"You called me man-stealer and said you didn't want to see me anymore. I respected your space," Psyche replied. Despite the fact that she was dark fae, she was always a nice person. Dark was just a lifestyle. It didn't mean she would do horrible things.

"I was never angry at you," Evony mumbled, "I am sorry."

"You are not yourself, Evony," Psyche climbed into bed and laid next to her.

"Why didn't you hate me?" Evony asked in a baby voice.

"Of course, I don't hate you," Psyche whispered back, "You are my sister."

"I locked your boyfriend in a chest."

"Eros? Sweetie, you knew I never even liked him. He was just a weird creepy stalker." She touched Evony's face, "I knew you loved him, but I never understood why you fell for him."

"I missed you," Evony smiled and drifted into dreamland.

"You are my sister and you have been and always will be one of the most important person in my life. No man will go between you and me," She kissed Evony's cheek, "Sis over dicks."

They didn't talk much for the next ten days when Evony slowly recovered. Lauren paid a few visits and she was amused by how good care Psyche had provided for Evony. Even though they didn't have much of a conversation, she knew Psyche loved Evony.

By the end of two weeks, Evony had broken her fever, regained her full strength and melted Franco and the three musicians Psyche brought in. She was cured.

There was one thing she wasn't happy about. She was overwhelmed by Psyche's over-caring attitude and was ready to throw her out. They had a fight and it ended with Evony threatening to melt her own sister. How could Evony stay mad at Psyche? After all, they were sisters.

They made up. She walked Psyche to the door.

"Evony, I am so happy you called me when you need help the most. You let me see your weak moment and that means a lot to me." Psyche wanted to plant a kiss on Evony's face, but Evony turned it down.

"I am not weak," Evony slammed the door in Psyche's face.

Evony whispered, "Thank you."

"I heard it!" Psyche cheerfully yelled through the door, "Call me!"
