CHAPTER ONE: BREAKING THE SEAL

Prince: Ah. The first chapter of Demons in Feudal Tokyo. Man I love writing but there's just too much stuff flying around in my mind for me to stick to one project. I just had to get this out before I ended up brain-farting while writing Mahora no Kitsune-sensei. As of now, I'm still trying to decide how to get Negi to go running into the woods like in canon. Keep in mind, this is not the Negi who was a teacher, but a guest of the teacher.

Kiactu: Prince of the Forgotten does not own Naruto or InuYasha. Also, there is a female InuYasha in here, but her name was changed.

Prince: Now it's Inu Riko. And expect a bit more surprise from my writing genius. Ahhahaha!

Kiactu: Pairings are

Naruto/Kagome/Inu Riko/Sango
Miroku/OC
Shippo/?(represents that girl from that episode Shippo's First Love; I can't remember her name)/Lightning Brother's Little Sister

CHAPTER START

Ever had one of those days when you think 'I should've stayed in bed and missed a day'? Where you feel like if you even get up, you'll step into some kind of hole? Well then you kind of guessed what my day is like. I was too . . . excited . . . to go back to sleep and too lazy to get out of bed. Maybe if I had stayed, I could've went back to sleep. But NO! My body demanded that I get up and go to school. Maybe I wouldn't be in this mess if I had stayed in bed. In doing so, I could've avoided going to the future with this one . . . rather plain girl. I wouldn't be in a fight with another demonic girl, and I wouldn't be trying to save the world's ass by trying to fight this formerly attractive (from the waist up) centipede woman!

EARLIER THAT MORNING

"Today feels like it's just going to be another ordinary day," a young man's voice sighed as the sounds of sheets ruffling could be heard. "Though that dream last night was awfully weird." The fifteen-year-old could remember the dream vividly. It was of a colossal fight between two combatants, one a young man with blond hair like his while the other was a black-haired youth. What made the fight colossal was how the two were fighting.

Giant avatars made of energy clashed on the battlefield. One was a gigantic vulpine-like creature that held a little person inside its head. It had skeletal patterns adorning the skin made from energy. The other was a samurai with a pair of wings wider than it was tall. At each fulcrum was a hand holding what appeared to be a sword made out of the very same material as the armor. It had a long nose like one of those masks you find at a shrine. What are they called? A tengu mask.

On its forehead was a series of spikes while inside what appeared to be a jewel housed a person as tall as the one controlling what the boy assumed was a ghost fox. Holes stood on the creature's cheeks that connected with its mouth.

Nine satellites rushed to the tengu's back before releasing energy that the gigantic ethereal being began to absorb into itself. The dreamer could only watch as the thing (he remembered the young man piloting it calling the being a 'Susanoo') changed shape before what emerged was something almost different than what was there to begin with. Inside was a white being made of the energy that the young man dreaming saw from the satellites. Behind it was a trail of lightning shaped kind of like long hair [1].

The fox split itself into four (each with their own copy of the pilot inside their heads) using some sort of hand technique before one of the copies was knocked to the ground. It soon began to draw energy from its surroundings (from what the young man could feel) while the four combatants in the air duked it out. Before long, the boy in the head of the foxes gathered his clones together to form another creature. This monster (for lack of a better term) had three snouts and six arms. Every fox's individual nine tails became a cloak for the creature and the one sent to the ground burst in a plume of smoke.

Power began to waft off the two beings like sand blowing in the breeze. The 'Susanoo' drew a bow from its hand and pulled back on a string made of lightning. Two orb-like attacks hovered over the arms of the fox avatar on its left and right sides, one a dark purplish color and the other a bluish white color.

The forces clashed and the massive explosion woke up the dreamer. He sat up in the bed before clutching at his eye. He didn't know why, but he kept having that same dream over and over. The name of that blond kept rewinding over and over in his head almost as much as the dream. ". . . Naruto Uzumaki . . ." He would know that name . . . because it was his own.

What were the odds that his name would be the same as the one in the dream? It was like some god decided to play a trick on one of his world's inhabitants. And Naruto was that lucky inhabitant. "Heh. It was just a dream. It's not like I can do that anyway." He looked down at his right hand and tried to picture that spiraling ball of blue energy that he had seen the Naruto in the dream use. It didn't appear.

After a quick shower and breakfast, Naruto was ready to head out for the local high school. He was dressed in the traditional high school uniform, only he had it detailed. The uniform by itself was black with gold buttons but he sewed an orange trim. Naruto's sleeves on his jacket were rolled up to his elbow. He wore the jacket open, showing an orange t-shirt underneath with a blue crystal necklace hanging over it.

So, I'm a new student at a small high school in Tokyo. When I say small, I mean like you know how other schools are now updating their uniforms? Well, our style is going on fifty years old. Past the date it was acceptable to wear them. Anyway, on my way to school, I had to stop by my "guide's" house to pick her up today. Unfortunately that day would be the day I didn't go back to school. Not for a while.

Naruto knocked patiently on the shrine door. He waited for a few minutes before knocking once more. When the door opened, he got a good look at the person who greeted him into their home. It was a woman barely out of her thirties dressed in a green blouse with a pinkish skirt. "Welcome, Naruto-kun," she greeted with a smile.

"Ohayo, Higurashi-kaa-san," he greeted back. "Is Kagome ready yet?"

"She's ready but I'm afraid she went looking for our cat," Ms. Higurashi explained. "He went missing and we haven't seen him since yesterday." Every time the cat went out, he would always come back within the hour or so. It was a fat cat, so the only thing it really did was eat and sleep. "She should be in the backyard." Naruto nodded and took off behind the house. He came to a stop seeing a young woman with long black hair searching behind the house for something.

"Come on, Buyo," she grumbled. "I'm going to be late for school and the new kid is supposed to be walking with me." She really wanted to know more about the boy and didn't know why he was so interesting. Maybe it was the way he carried himself.

Naruto Uzumaki was an enigma from the first time he arrived at her school. He shouted out everywhere that he was going to be the next souban (Translation: Gang Leader) of the local yakuza, calling out most of the school's toughest guys and beating them to show that he was their better. That was . . . until he got into a fight with the resident "prince" Sasuke Uchiha. The two fought and did something . . . but Kagome never got what happened between the two. All she know was that whenever people tried to ask, they would try to shut them up.

To be honest, Kagome never got what was so special about the younger Uchiha. Once you got past his looks, the boy was bad manners and looking down on others.

"Hey, Naruto," she greeted before turning back around. A fat calico cat ran up to Naruto's leg and rubbed its head against his leg. "Sorry about this, but Buyo went missing." Naruto looked down before picking up the cat.

The sound of knocking could be heard inside the building where Kagome was looking. "How did he get down in the well?" she asked, about to open it. "Hey, Kagome, maybe it isn't your cat," Naruto told her. "I mean, it looks locked . . . and I know your cat couldn't have gotten in." Unless it was some kind of ghost cat. If it was . . . Naruto glanced down at the feline in his hands, who looked him back in the face.

". . . Nah."

The sound of wood bursting caught his attention. Naruto looked to the source to see multiple arms grab Kagome and wrap around her, dragging her into the abyss. His mouth hung open as he let Buyo drop to the ground. "That . . . was some Grudge-type mess," he commented before crossing his arm in front of his body in an x pattern. "Nope. Not going to do anything about it. I am not going to do anything."

He stood there for a second and watched. The purple glow that had sprung up with the arms was beginning to fade. ". . ." He tried his best to ignore it before groaning to himself. "I hate situations like this." Naruto jumped down the well after Kagome just before the glow faded. A little boy, who had seen the entire thing behind Naruto, quickly ran back into the house to tell someone about what happened to both his sister and that other boy.

Naruto felt like he was slowly falling down a bottomless pit. The space around him was kind of . . . purple. Just different shades of purple with star-like designs littered everywhere. He adjusted himself in the air and kept a thinking pose. "Damn my chivalrous nature," he groaned to himself. "This is almost as bad as that time that one girl almost got hurt by those bullies." It was way back before he was adopted from the orphanage by his adoptive parents, who were now on business trips out of country and sent him a check for living expenses every month. Of course Naruto really only spends it on ramen (with the occasional raw vegetable or two) and used the rest to do whatever he wants with it.

The space around him soon turned black before Naruto suddenly felt the urge to push his feet out in order to break his fall. When he would eventually land, the young man's face scrunched up. Outside the well, a massive bloodcurdling scream could be heard outside the well. The sound bounced off the walls.

"God dammit!" he cried, rolling on the bottom of the well and gripping both his feet. "I thought with how slow I was going there wouldn't be this much pain. Why does it hurt so much?" Once the pain subsided, Naruto climbed up the walls of the well before looking around. "Wait . . . Wasn't there a house somewhere around here? Why do I see nothing but trees?" He should've at least seen Kagome's home.

"Could it be . . . that I traveled back in time?" he asked with a serious expression on his face. It soon morphed into a grin. "Nah. I've been reading too much manga." So, Naruto went exploring the forest. "The trees here aren't as big as the ones in my dream," he thought to himself. They were the size of medium-sized trees. One where if he was able to jump from limb to limb like he could remember how they did, he would have to be quick. The slightest weight could break each of them like twigs.

Once walking, he came to what appeared to be a body trapped to a tree. Investigating closer, Naruto noticed that the body was that of a young woman. ". . . People trapped to trees dressed in nekomimi," he grunted. The girl had long silver hair with two dog-shaped ears (the backs of which were silver) on top of her head. "I hope she's still alive." If she wasn't bleeding nor coughing up blood, then Naruto had a feeling she was just fine. A rather messed up idea came to his mind and Naruto was powerless against his second head. One hand grabbed a handful of breast and making sure no one was around, he squeezed it as if it was a horn.

What Naruto didn't know was that his perverse little moment was what brought the girl back to consciousness. You see, some form of energy within Naruto moved through his hand and into the girl's bosom, where the arrow was located. That little spark of energy began to counteract with the energy keeping the girl trapped to the tree unconscious. So, the young woman's eyes began to open slowly. And when she would open her eyes fully, the first thing she would see was some pervert in strange clothes groping her.

She began to growl. Naruto turned his eyes upwards from the girl's chest before flinching back. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" she asked. Her eyes screamed bloody murder, as if she wasn't trapped to a tree and was about to destroy the human who even thought to touch her there and get away with it. "Uh . . . Checking to see if you were alive?" Naruto replied. It was more of a question than an answer.

"No you weren't, you perverse bastard! You were totally touching my chest!" But it was to make sure you were still alive. Though if she wasn't, I'm guessing this would cross the line into necrophilia. . . . Now my mind is going to a dark place for writing this.

To get my mind off it . . . "Hey, did you see a girl wearing a sailor uniform come through here?" he asked. "I was supposed to get her so we both came to school. But it seems that we can't leave." Unbeknownst to him, the girl had been there earlier. She messed with something on the girl trapped to the tree but it was nowhere as bad as what Naruto did. Kagome had been playing with the girl's ears.

"Maybe she went to the village over that ridge," the dog-girl responded. "If you pull me off this tree I'll lead you to her. Call it a repayment for groping me."

"But . . . I would still owe you a favor." And Naruto would not be that easily fooled. If he pulled that girl off the tree, there was no guarantee that she may try to kill him. It was pretty obvious that she would. The funny thing about it was the fact that her ears seemed to twitch every few seconds, like real dog ears. "I didn't know the well had two openings in it." One that lead him from Kagome's house and the other to this forest.

"You mean Bone Eater's Well?" the dog girl asked. "That well only has one opening." Naruto just stared blankly as he tried to process her information. "Excuse me?" he asked.

"That . . . well . . . only . . . has . . . one . . . opening," she repeated. "You can't reopen it." Naruto grimaced before voicing his opinion. "Well fuck." So he was stuck here . . . wherever here was. And he had to locate Kagome so they could find a way home. He began to walk away from the location silently thinking to himself. "Hey, you bastard! You're supposed to release me!"

The sounds of something slithering caught his attention. Like if something had multiple legs that was crawling on the ground. It was too big to be a bug and too in sync to be an army. The sounds of someone running in front of it also caught his ear. "Hey Kagome, what's wro –" Naruto soon found out. It was a gigantic centipede with the upper body of a woman.

"I can sense something even more powerful than the Shikon no Tama radiating from you, boy." Naruto would've responded, but his attention was drawn to the pair of naked breasts in front of his face. "You know, if you get rid of the centipede body, three of those arms, and that face that splits like that, she would actually be kind of cute," he commented. "But then again, I'm guessing people who like legs would feel like as long as she kept the body, she'd be fine." He himself wasn't personally a leg fan. More of an opportune moment kind of guy.

Like if he was alone with Kagome, he would probably go for the girl's rather fit stomach. She didn't have that much fat but she obviously watched what she ate. For the girl trapped to the tree, he'd have to see what she was packing before he made judgment calls.

"Would you take this moment seriously?" Kagome and the dog-girl yelled.

Naruto grimaced before facing down Mistress Centipede. "Okay. Fine." He moved, dodging the demon's attack before barely moving out of her range of attack. "Guess all that dodging Nee-san's punches had something come out of them." He then noticed that her last lunge was positioned so that if she missed him, she would get Kagome instead. "Dammit!" Naruto called forth speed that he'd never thought he had.

He grabbed the girl and pushed her to the side before taking one himself. The creature had claimed his right arm from just above the elbow. "GAH!" he yelled, holding his bleeding stump. Thankfully, he had pushed Kagome towards the other female on their side (for the time being).

"Pull the arrow out unless you want to watch your friend die slowly before you yourself do," the silver-haired half-demon told her. Kagome looked towards Naruto. "He's going to eventually bleed out if you don't."

Kagome was trying her best to think of what to do. Should she let Naruto die, or would she do the obvious thing and let the terrorizer of the village free. She made her choice while watching Naruto writhe in pain. Kagome's hand grasped the arrow lodged in Inu Riko's chest and pulled.

The arrow shattered as it was pulled out before Riko smiled. She broke out of her makeshift prison just as Mistress Centipede devoured Naruto's arm. She was beginning to transform, her once pearly skin falling off to reveal an even more devilish creature underneath. Instead of having normal eyes like she did before, her eyes were gigantic yellow orbs.

With Naruto, he stopped struggling and glared up at the sky, feeling cold and wet as blood pooled around his stump. 'Is . . . Is this the end?' he asked. 'Me? I've never had my first girlfriend. I never showed anyone I could beat them. I never beat up Sasuke-teme.' His mind steeled. 'No. This is not the end for me. I am Naruto Uzumaki! I never lose to something like this!'

"Welcome back, Naruto." Naruto heard a chorus of voices welcoming him back.

'Eh?'

Before Mistress Centipede could ever get near Kagome, a red blur burrowed into her side. Once the smoke from her impact cleared, it showed a thoroughly ticked Naruto who growled at the thing underneath him. Everything about him was feral, from his now clawed hand to his birthmarks becoming more pronounced to his even more wild and unruly hair. The teen growled at the demon underneath him before raising up his arm and shoving it into Mistress Centipede's body.

Pulling out the severed arm before it could even reach her stomach, he threw it away before focusing on the demon underneath him. Mistress Centipede had reverted back. She was about to attack the boy on top of her when he glared into her eyes. It was a wordless contact before the demon would find herself inside some sort of building underwater. She could see no walls but she knew there was floor. But her attention was taken from her surroundings to a massive creature in front of her.

It was a massive vulpine with nine waving tails behind it. The two stared (Mistress Centipede more scared to move than anything) at each other before the fox opened his mouth and roared. Mistress Centipede would find herself back where she was before, but not before finding her head encased in an ethereal hand that popped it like a balloon.

Naruto reappeared next to Kagome, raising his stump (it had cauterized thanks to the red energy around him) towards the tree that once held Riko to it. White liquid split the bark before flying towards the wound. It latched on and began to morph, creating a new arm for Naruto. You could obviously see that the new arm didn't match Naruto's skin tone but as long as he hid it from anyone, he wouldn't have to worry.

The oppressive feeling Kagome felt from being around Naruto dissipated completely, leaving a tired young man to fall to the ground. It was thankfully due to Kagome that he didn't. "Naruto, are you okay?" she asked. He said nothing, his cerulean eyes (which had turned red like the energy) closed.

"Heh," Riko said, stepping towards the couple. "Now to take care of you." She'd tend to him later, after dealing with the girl. She could always use another servant. That flea loved to abandon her at times like this. She could use one she could control, like her older brother Sesshomaru and his subordinate Jaken.

"Where did those attacks come from?" People from the village nearby could be heard running through the forest, looking for the fleeing Kagome after dealing with the fires caused by Mistress Centipede. They eventually caught up to Kagome, who was holding an unconscious and injured young man in her arm as Inu Riko closed in on them.

"Child, run!" the elderly priestess warned. Kagome didn't want to leave Naruto behind while she ran. 'Please wake up!' she thought to herself as though it would help Naruto regain consciousness. 'Please wake up! Please wake up!' Naruto still wouldn't move.

Kagome grabbed his recently regrown right hand and squeezed. She knew that it was made of something like sap from the tree, but it felt like an actual hand. Like there was bone and muscle inside.

Naruto seemed to automatically move his leg up, catching Riko as she pounced at the duo before she sailed over Kagome's head. The half-demon slammed herself into the tree. Kagome just stared in disbelief before finally voicing her confusion. "Eh?" From what the girl knew, Naruto was quite the delinquent. He was too brash and never took any interest in a sport. Maybe those were just rumors, but Naruto nailed that attack perfectly.

"What the hell?" Riko asked once she regained her bearings. "There's no way I could've been defended against by a human!" She then rushed towards the two again, claws reaching for Naruto's neck. He pushed off his hands into a backflip back onto his feet, catching her in the jaw. He dodged and redirected her attacks as if he was awake.

One more attack caught Inu Riko's hand in his before he laid a right hook into the girl. It lifted her off the ground, where she fell back down. "I . . . can't . . . move . . ." the half-demon groaned. It was like each of her muscles locked from the blow. And with that, Naruto's body slackened before he fell face-first into the dirt.

"Naruto, are you okay?" Kagome asked, rushing towards her savior. Her answer was a long snore coming from the unconscious boy.

"Geh!" Riko groaned as she tried to pick her body up. "That bastard!" With each crick and strain, the girl was finally able to get back up. "I'm going to skin him and you alive!" Before she could will her body to attack, several lights flew through the air before circling around her neck. Kagome tried to pick Naruto up before realizing that the boy was too heavy.

"I'm sorry," she whispered to herself before running. The boy was too heavy to move and she was sure that Naruto could protect himself even while unconscious. But she was an easier target. Kagome didn't know how to fight as well as Naruto. She didn't know how to use a weapon like the others, and she was sure that she didn't have any more mystic powers. Though that first time she fought off Mistress Centipede seemed to say different.

"Use the subduing words!" Lady Kaede's voice reached out to her. The villagers had returned to the forest about the time when Inu Riko and an unconscious Naruto were duking it out. "I don't know them!" she yelled back, nearly dodging a decapitating slash from Riko. She was plenty sure that if she didn't react quickly enough, though she might've missed the decapitating part, Riko would've sliced her throat instead of taking her head.

Then it kind of hit her. Riko reminded Kagome of a dog . . . a . . . puppy to be more precise. So, to train an overactive puppy, what did you do? You put a shock collar on it. And from what Kagome could come up with was that despite all looks, Inu Riko was nothing more than a dog girl. Except now she had a shock collar in the form of a rosary necklace.

"Osuwari!"

That one word kept Inu Riko from slicing into her meat. The beads seemed to weigh a ton and dragged her into the ground. "What the hell?" the half-demon girl growled out. She tried to pull the necklace over her head, only for it to glow before zapping her. "Just wait until I get this off me. You're dead, you bitch! You hear me? DEAD!"

Naruto would wake up the next day to two girls glaring across the room at one another. ". . . Yeah," he muttered, "I'm going back to sleep."

BACK AT THE HIGURASHI SHRINE

While all their adventures were just beginning in Feudal Japan, Kagome's family steady tried to look for her. "I don't know what happened," her little brother told their new house guest. "All I know is that I saw Kagome get pulled into the well and that blond guy that always walks with her to school followed her in."

The house guest was taller than anyone there. He had long spiky white hair with two red lines trailing from the bottom of his eyes to the bottom of his chin. His nose was bulbous and had warts on it. All in all, he looked like an older man (probably twenty to thirty years older than Souta's mother) but not as old as his grandfather.

The man was physically fit from what little the clothing could hide on him. Even though the people around him could tell he was strong enough to crush them like a grape, he didn't give off that feeling. Instead, he gave off this kind of perverted feeling. Like Souta would do better to stay with his mother instead of leaving her alone with the so-called Sage.

"I need your help once more," the grandfather said as he bowed before the younger man. "Don't worry about it," the man waved him off with a grin. "It's an honor to watch over the people who protect Tokyo from a demon attack." Not to mention how much of an honor it was for him to sneak a peek at the woman of the household. He just hoped the woman never picked up a book that he wrote any time soon.

"Thank you . . . Jiraiya-sama."

CHAPTER END

Prince: Oh? What's this? Prince put the characters from Naruto in the InuYasha Universe? Don't worry. Most of the characters don't really have a purpose but to make Naruto seem accustomed to the place. It's basically if I mixed Konoha Gakuen Den (with trace elements from the original series like chakra and the Tailed Beasts) with InuYasha. Now, for Jiraiya's place in the story, it's kind of like the original series, too. Jiraiya will teach Naruto how to fight, instead of that brawling stuff Naruto usually does on the streets. He will also teach Naruto about chakra, his past life, his techniques, and how to draw on the Bijuu's power.

Kiactu: This story will follow Kenchi618's guidelines for Naruto.

Naruto should be able to replicate himself. (Prince: Future Check.)

Being a smart-ass is recommended. (Prince: Check.)

He must have some sort of weakness. (Prince: (shrugs) Maybe sometime soon.)

Pissing off your readers is a double-edged sword. (Prince: What exactly does that have to do with anything?)

NO FREAKIN' YAOI! (Prince: Check checkcheckcheckcheckcheck. Check checkcheckcheckcheckcheck. (Sound of a chicken)

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. (Prince: Obviously I can't do that since some of the assholes who review my stories are just jackasses who need a good hard boot to the ass (but don't have a story of their own). I'm looking at you, D2.0-ReaperBlaze.)

Grammar and punctuation are actually very fucking important. (Prince: They are to me. I hate reading something like "Naruto kiss Tsunade and lay down on bed. They kiss again and Naruto put pecker in woman." That shit gets old. If I wrote that shit in fourth grade . . . Well, I'd probably get my butt whipped after they called and told my guardians. But then they'd probably send me to freaking Special Ed because I couldn't write worth crap.)

Bashing is okay . . . to an extent. (Prince: Yeah. It's okay sometimes but some people take it over the line to where the story just seems like it's all about Sasuke and Sakura getting fucked over. Come on. They've changed. Sasuke isn't as much as a dick as before he reverted back.)

Listen to the people. (Prince: That's kind of hard. No one seems to leave reviews good enough for me to listen to. Well, except a select few. I mean flamers coming on to my fics and calling them unoriginal and pathetic)

OC's are not God. (Prince: Kiactu is not that powerful if you think about it. He's more action instead of emotion. He really had nothing to do with any of their training and most of the training he's pushing Kotaro through are really just training from other series. So he's no longer a Mary Sue character; that was WAY back in 6th grade. Before I signed up for FanFiction. He's had more time to develop and I think he has for a relatively good author.)

Have extensive knowledge about the subject you are writing on. (Prince: That's what my phone's browser/Chrome is for. I use it to get information on a subject I'm touching on, like how a character should act or how they usually dress.)

Prince: Also, I should add one more thing. I hate fics that turn a character's negative traits all the way up to eleven. As some of you may know, that expression basically means that someone seems to only highlight on a character's bad side, instead of their good. There was this one story I was reading fairly recently called Naruto: The Gamer Files, I had to put it down because it felt like Sasuke was being treated like more of a douche than he was in the real series. Sure, the guy gave off this pompous asshole feeling, but that fanfiction just turned it up all the way past eleven. And Kakashi's tardiness, he was blaming on something when in canon it was because he would always find himself at the memorial site for Rin and Obito, as well as Minato. We all knew that he was still in mourning. I mean, how could he not be? The man killed his best female friend and couldn't keep his promise to his presumed deceased best friend.

Kiactu: I'm on Prince's side here. Sasuke proved to himself that he thought of Team Seven as his family but he thought it was a weakness, so he distanced himself. So people should really stop trying to paint him as a villain.

Prince: Okay. Now that I got that out of my system, please don't think badly of me for stating my opinion. See you guys later.
