This is what happens when I've had insomnia the previous night and I start discussing story ideas with other authors… I guess I should thank PrincessEmilyVictoriaHolmes101 for talking with me… even though most of the time I was spewing my brain-trash at her… sorry about that girl! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy… whatever this is.
"Hey, er, Mark 'r whatever yer name is, ya seen Ockie?" Jedediah fidgeted a bit in the roman diorama. He'd never really been here without the Roman general, and he knew the other romans still weren't overly fond of him.
"It is Marcus, and yes, I have seen General Octavius. He left some time ago, saying he wished to find a new squirrel, although I haven't the faintest what he meant by it." Jed grins, thanking the soldier before heading off to where Gigantor left the car. He stepped on the gas, heading toward the side entrance where he knew Octavius would sneak outside. Octavius only had one regret when they left the Smithsonian; and that was that he had to say farewell to the squirrel he tamed. Jed braked heavily as something swoops on front of his car. Instantly he scrambles out.
"What 'n tarnation?!" He watched as a, well, he guessed it was a stuffed animal, flied down to meet him; Octavius riding its back.
Wait…
"OCTAVIUS WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" He pulled out his guns, even though he knew there's no real point other than to sooth his ego.
"'Tis a Pegasus my liege; it would seem that some child left it behind during the day time. I found it wandering the halls. Would you care to join me for a ride?" Jed stared at the giant ball of pink fluff as it flapped its thin, sorry excuses for wings.
"Heck no! A squirrel's one thing, but THIS…"
"Oh come now Jedediah, it is no more dangerous than you driving us around the museum in that car of yours."
"Don't you go bringin' Henrietta inta this!"
"And don't you go insulting the strength of my Juiliana. Now shall you mount, or shall I leave you to your reckless driving?"
"Juli... ugh." Jed groaned as the creature gave him a pleading expression. "I swear, if I hear one word about this from Gigantor…"
So… what'd ya think? This is my first fic without an (official) OC, unless you count the Pegasus, which I don't. Plus it was my first fic rated K! Please review with your thoughts! :)
