Don't Say A Word

Must be quiet and don't say a word,

Because he might hear and that wouldn't be good.

If I'm quiet and don't make him mad,

Then my life's so much better and I'll be glad.

But if I disturb him and he wakes up and walks my way,

He'll start beating and stabbing and destroying my day.

So I'll walk and talk a quiet as I can,

Then I won't have to endure the wrath of that angry demented man.

My friends mean well when they say "get rid of him"

It's like they think that I haven't tried,

But for all my efforts I only get more pain and more tears that I cry.

So until I can discover how to separate me from that damn ring,

I will have to put up with all the pain and anguish that it brings.
