AN: I really need some suggestions as to weather it should be all in Max's point of view or if it should balance between hers and Clarys PLEASE HELP.
(This is also placed anytime after FANG as well as after CITY OF GLASS)

Chapter One

I awoke on the couch by Gazzy's hands frantically shaking me.

"Max, it's Dalyn. He's finally come back."

You're probably wondering what's going on right about now. Well Dalyn decided it would be 'fun' to ditch us without letting me or the others know. He'd been gone two days and had us worried sick. I mean sure he went off on his own but he was usually back by nightfall. And although we could have gone after him the voice specifically said it was his own decision and not to follow him.

My senses were on alert as I sat up. It was really unlike Dalyn to do something like this, I mean he's always so obedient.

"He went strait to his room. I think he's sleeping." Gazzy's hushed voice wasn't the quietest, and sure enough a tall dark figure loomed in the hallway.

"Someone's in trouuubbbblllleeee." Gazzy shook his head and headed past Dalyn to his bedroom chuckling.

"What seems to be the problem Max?" He came closer his voice softening.

"Well for one you've been out two nights not letting anyone know where you were. Where did you go? China or something?" My voice now raised to a shout.

"Max, it's not any of your business."

Now my blood was boiling. None of my business? Despite my anger I tried to remain calm.

"Look kid, I'm the boss around here and there are no secrets in the flock. If you want to stay here you need to be here, or let someone know where you are idlest."

What came out next didn't really surprised me.

"I guess I'm just not one of you then."

With that he turned and headed to the door. I followed after him outside but he had already disappeared. I would have gone after him but I was to angry to deal with his crap.

He'll be back, I mean where else is there to go.

Yet another person pushed away by none other then me.

I glanced sourly at the picture of Fang on the wall then proceeded to walk to my bedroom.
