A/N: Okay, so I know it's really short. I've actually had it on my computer for months and haven't posted it because it's so short. However, whenever I go back and read it, it brings a smile to my face, so I figured I would post it anyways.
Oh, and by the way, I know it's not completely realistic, we always knew that Mer would keep her name. It's just for the sake of the story/scene.
As they walked to their car, Meredith was carefully studying the kidney that Derek had given her. Little did she know, all the while, Derek was carefully studying her, allowing his dreamy eyes to roam all over that body that he loved so much.
"I am sorry" Derek said as he grabbed a hold of Meredith's hand.
"Eh, its okay. You were right. I mean, I dropped a freaking kidney. Besides, it'll be the Shepherd method soon enough anyways." Meredith mumbled, continuing to watch her organ-in-a-jar bounce up and down as she walked along.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"You don't think I'm gonna keep Grey as my last name once we get married do you?" She took her eyes off of the kidney and looked up at Derek, "do you know how much trouble the Grey family has caused me?"
"When we get married?"
"Come on, don't tell me that freaks you out. You're Derek, you love that sort of thing."
He chuckled slightly. "Maybe, but you know what I really love?" He stopped walking and put his other hand on Meredith's shoulder, pulling her close and kissing her softly on the lips.
"What?" She said, pulling back only slightly, and then leaning in once again, reuniting their lips.
