The adventurers slay the final Stormforged Giant. As the great creature crumples and falls to the ground, Loken exits his deep thought and lazily turns his head toward the challengers.

The titan rises from his throne and wrathfully proclaims, "I hope you know what it means to stand before me. I have witnessed the rise and fall of empires... the birth and extinction of entire species... over countless millennia the foolishness of mortals has remained the only constant. Your presence here confirms this. My master has shown me the future, and you have no place in it."

The adventurers are entirely unfazed; they continue up the stairs, with their weapons unsheathed and no regrets. Loken then creates a massive aura of lightning. The adventures already feel their flesh being seared and their consciousness fading.

All but the priest break free of death's allure and rapidly charge Loken, to escape the pulsing shockwave. She is enfeebled and falls to one knee.

"Your flesh cannot hold out for long," Loken exclaims sensing her imminent erasure.

He sends a bolt of arc lightning at the defenseless healer. To avoid demise, she quickly places a shield around herself and feels her soul fade away. The spell is absorbed and her only protection vanishes. The pulsing lightning continues and the burns deepen. Her skins peels away and she feels intense pain in her chest. She falls to the floor as her eyes fall shut, never to open again.

The rogue does not wish to experience death. He unrepentantly betrays his allies, vanishing into the shadows forever.

"You cannot hide from fate!" Loken roars, casting a fatal lightning nova.

The druid and the shaman sprint away, while the warrior strikes Loken during vulnerability. His shield crashes into Loken's knee and he strikes several times before driving the sword through the titan's abdomen. The lightning nova explodes across the floor, instantly incinerating the healer's corpse. The warrior does not run; he raises his colossal shield wall and resists the attack painlessly. Loken is weakened by his wound and the lightning aura becomes less potent. Sensing weakness, the shaman unleashes a piercing roar. The remaining three are filled with bloodlust. Loken's mere presence entreats oblivion.

The crazed horde dismantles Loken's body with their furious strikes.

As Loken feels his knees give way, he makes his last stand, thundering, "I... am... FOREVER!"

He unleashes a final arc lightning, hitting all three adventurers. They disregard the pain, under the final seconds of bloodlust. However, what little time they had, was seemingly wasted. Loken still stands and they are exhausted after their concerted effort. The shaman falls. The warrior is mortally struck. The druid feels an overwhelming fatigue take hold of him. He feels the warmth of the sun and the grasses of Mulgore upon his feline body. He closes his eyes and falls asleep.
