You, Me & The Horsey
"Horse riding."
Draco smiled brilliantly at Hermione, showcasing all his pearly whites. Hermione rolled her eyes.
"Come on Hermione, you know you love me!" Draco grinned.
"Unfortunately," Hermione mumbled.
Draco pouted.
Hermione rolled her eyes, grabbed Draco's hand and pulled him.
"What?" Draco asked.
"You want to go horse riding wearing jean and polo shirt? I have no problem," Hermione said sarcastically. "At least let me go and change, I don't want to ride wearing heels."
The two silently made their way to the changing rooms at the end of the field. Hermione opened her bag ("Is Harry a psychic? He predicted I would need these today... or perhaps Draco told him.") and changed quickly. She skipped and stopped. She was going get her eyes stuck with the rolling it was doing.
Draco was peering in a mirror. He ruffled his hair a bit, tugged at his shirt, adjusted his shoes and started the process all again.
"Come on narcissist," Hermione said playfully. Draco scowled at her.
"I hate you," he muttered sulkily as they made their way to the stables.
"Nah, you love me," Hermione laughed.
"Unfortunately."
"Repeating my words?"
A man at the stables gestured them to come closer.
"Which one do ya want?" he asked.
Hermione looked at the horses. All were so beautiful. But she had to choose one. Now, which one will it be? Decisions, decisions.
"I'll have that chestnut one please," Hermione pointed at the horse. The man guided the horse outside. Draco was already beside her on a black stallion.
"There ya go laddie," The man said and helped her climb up.
"Race Hermione?" Draco asked.
Hermione gazed at the field speculatively. "You bet it."
"3, 2 and 1!" Draco yelled and urged his horse to trot. Hermione followed him. She loosened her grip a bit and tugged at reins. The horse started going faster.
"You know Hermione, you ought to-" Draco began.
"Oh shut up! Let me concentrate!" Hermione yelled. And that did it. Draco began sprouting of all information regarding horses. He even started lecturing her on how to ride her horse properly! The nerve of him, lecturing me, when it was I who taught him how to ride a horse, Hermione fumed silently. She really wanted to hit Draco until he started begging her to stop. All this distracted her and-
"I WIN!" Draco yelled in joy.
Draco leaned back on his horse and smiled again, pearly whites as display. "Are you blinded by my brilliance yet? I know you are, that's why lost!"
"Hardy har har," Hermione muttered sarcastically. Draco leaned backer still and in the process...
The stallion stood on its hind legs as Draco kicked it by mistake. The blond seated on it screamed ("Like a girl," Hermione giggled.) and was promptly thrown off and straight in a haystack. Hermione dismounted the horse, laughing and clutching stomach, and made her way to Draco, stumbling only once.
"Aww," she mock cooed, "Poor ickle Dwaco is hurt? Would he like me to kiss his injuwies away?"
"Yes please," Draco said, pouting. Hermione obliged.
She leaned down and kissed him hard.
A.N.: I loved writing this! Poor Draco, thrown of by the stallion! Sorry if any information is incorrect, it's been a long time since I rode a horse and I can't remember that perfectly.
This is for you Jasmin (Delusional Fujoshi), I hope you like it!
