Elfin Lied: The Diclonius Hunt
By Colddweller
Prologue
Bloop splayed across the stainless steel wall, covering the logo with a even coat of rep paint, only interrupted by a occasional speck of grey matter. The soldier cowered to the back of the wall in fear, in the air I could smell a small hint of excrement. It brought a slightly bemused smile to my lips. The solider however was too preoccupied from his fear, given his buddy had just died in front of him. From his graying hair and tobacco roughened gasps, he seemed close to retirement. Maybe he could answer my question. I bent over and looked him right in the eyes "Where's Lucy?" And the first indication of confusion in his eyes, his head flew off. Easily taken care of via my Vectors. I turned and began to walk out, when I noticed open before me was a door that seemed newer than the rest of the building. Curious I stepped inside the room and saw a sign that obviously read "Lucy" in Kanji. Though frustrated I allowed myself to smile, at least she WAS here. "I suppose I should hack their systems when I get back to the hotel." I said nonchalantly pulling my hood up to hide my horns. No matter what I would find her, it was the only reason I still existed. To find my mother.
