So I was watching a play through of Skyward Sword and I REALLY liked the idea of a god reincarnating into a mortal.
And yeah.
Anyway I don't own anything and whatnot.

The Three Dragon Gods
Once there were three dragon gods created by Kami, the creator of the world.
Zanju, goddess of the sun.
Kolros, god of the moon.
Vetyx, God of darkness.
Kami had then created life, the Earth and the oceans.
For many millennia, Kami ruled the Earth as the Dragon gods bestowed the humans that Kami created Peace, Love, and Law. Kami had then felt that she can entrust the Earth to her children
and had decided to leave to watch over from her place at the End of the World.
When Kami had left the world, the three gods ruled over the Earth, however, Vetyx's heart was as black as the shadows he ruled in, and he grew jealous of the Goddess and the God who watched from the skies. He plagued the humans who refused to worship him with disease and demons, giving birth to his title of Demon King. With his army of shadow demons, he waged war on the Earth.
The humans, who had hearts of gold, were gradually killed off until a man and woman remained. Kolros, the one who desired to protect the last of life, hid them away. The World was shrouded in shadow and the demons who crawled from them.
The Oni, the malicious god of the Underworld gave Vetyx a Trident and Net and a barbed whip.
Kami, wanting to counter the Oni, gave Zanju a golden harp and boomerang and Kolros a sword and bow.
Vetyx rode in battle with Serpents whose gaze can turn mortals to stone. Kolros had mounted
on a purple pegasus, and Zanju entered on a chariot pulled by golden phoenixes.
The battle had lasted three years until the gods were heavily wounded. Zanju in an effort to defeat the Demon King played a melody on her harp, a soothing song known as the Song of Sealing, but before the entirety of Vetyx could be sealed away, the god of darkness cursed the three to have their divinity shed away, dooming to reincarnate into a mortal body.
Kolros decided to take a part of Zanju and his own soul and then two guardians known as Ryūotome (Dragon maiden) and Tenbahime (Pegasus princess). The Demon King, following the two's example created a being from his soul known as Hebiou (Snake king) to guide his reincarnation to retrieve his powers.
As their life force began to vanish, Zanju had the man and woman survivors sealed into time, and Kolros left a new race of humans. Vetyx however was not finished and cursed the humans with hearts of darkness, the moon god and sun goddess couldn't stop him as they gradually lost consciousness.
The three gods disappeared as their soul left to find a host suitable for their soul.
So yeah.
Most myths sound like a guy on crack created them, but since I'm a minor, I just made it all up the best I could...yeah.
