I sat alone in the compartment, waiting for Ron to return. I closed her eyes to rest. I heard the door open and felt someone sit next to me. A set of fingers ran through my hair. "Hey, Mione." I heard softly. I leaned into the familiar voice of my boyfriend, Ron. He wrapped his arm around me and rested his head on top of mine. He kissed the top of my head. "I love you." I whispered. Ron tilted my head towards his. Leaning forward he pressed his lips to mine. I smiled into the sweet kiss. Oddly, Ron's lips tasted like some sort of foreign sweet. I liked it. I savored the kiss. "Hermione!" I heard Ron yell from behind me. But that couldn't be, could it? I was kissing Ron, wasn't I? I opened my eyes and a pair of silver ones met with my brown ones. I fell off the seat screaming. I scrambled up and clung to Ron. He held me protectively. "What were you doing snogging my girlfriend, Malfoy?" Ron asked, stepping between me and Malfoy. "I don't know, showing her what a good kisser is like." He retorted. Ron's ears began turning red. "I know for certain that wasn't a good kiss. Mione wouldn't think so about you." He said through clenched teeth. "Oh really, Weasel? Because for a second, before you so rudely interrupted us, she seemed to be enjoying it." Malfoy smirked. Ron had had enough. He swung his fist at Malfoy. The Slytherin easily dodged it, and the one following shortly after. I couldn't take it. "Petrificus Totalus!" I screamed. Ron went stiff and fell over. "Stop, stop, stop!" I demanded. "Ronald, it was an accident. There is no need to cause violence." I said to the frozen boy on the floor. "And Malfoy, I don't care what you were trying to do. All you had to do… was ask." I said. He glanced at me in disbelief. I draped my arms around his neck. "So, ask." I whispered. He just stood there. So I pulled his lips to mine and kissed him full on.
