Hello there, people of the BH6 archive. This is my first Big Hero 6 story, as well as my first official multi-chapter story. I have had it on my mind (and my phone) for a while, and I thought, What better time to post than Spring Break? So I hope you guys give this story a chance.
If you want to learn more about my OC, look on my profile. The BH6 info is towards the bottom. If you look, you will see that I am planning a whole trilogy.
I do not own Big Hero 6. I only own my OC and part of the plot of this story.
"Well then how about 'invisible sandwich?'" As Fred prattled on about his ideas, Tadashi led Hiro to another part of the building.
"Come on. There's one more person I want you to meet."
Hiro followed his brother to a separate lab right near the door. All Hiro could hear from the other side was the sound of a girl attacking something. Tadashi looked at his brother's panicked face and chuckled before calmly knocking.
"Ninjette? I need to see you!"
The attacking stopped, followed by the clanking of metal. The door opened to reveal a female in fencing gear. Hiro jumped at the sight, making Tadashi snort.
"Hey, Dashi. What's up?" The female had a calm, slightly robust voice.
"Ninjette, this is my brother, Hiro."
The girl removed her helmet, revealing dark brown locks in a bun that was about to fall apart and matching brown eyes looking down at Hiro with adoration. She looked up at the older Hamada.
"'Bout time, Hamada. Come on in!"
The brothers followed Ninjette inside. Hiro gaped at the sight of her lab. There was one wall lined with various weapons. Another wall held a frame containing every karate belt, from white to black. In the center of the room was a mutilated punching bag, and laying on the floor next to it was a sword ("Katana, Hamada boy. There's a difference."). Ninjette had disappeared to the back of her lab, where there was a changing curtain. She came out in a simple t-shirt and jeans.
"Impressed, right? Well, wait until you see what I'm working on." She handed Hiro a throwing star from the wall and went to the other side of the room. Once she pulled a lever, she said "Throw it at me."
Hiro hesitated, but Tadashi said it was okay, so he threw it. The throwing star bounced off some kinda invisible wall before it made it's way to the brothers. Both ducked before it lodged itself in the wall behind them. Hiro walked up to the "wall" to see what it was.
"Invisible wall?"
"Invisible shield. As soon as I perfect it, there's a government grant with my name on it."
"Wow."
The girl held out her hand. "Name's Ninjette. It was so nice to meet you, Hiro. See you later, Dashi." She shook Hiro's hand before going to her desk.
"Come on, bro. It's time to show you what I've been working on."
Tadashi led his brother out of the lab, but not before sending Ninjette a silent "thank you" and a thumbs up.
Later, after Tadashi and Hiro left the school, Ninjette continued her workout. After she finished destroying the punching bag with her katana, she switched it out with a new one.
"Note to self: when done with shields, work on indestructible fabric."
She was just about to get started on her normal punching routine when her phone buzzed. There was a text from Tadashi.
Hey, thanks again. I was able to convince Hiro to apply!
Ninjette smiled. She ws glad she could help.
First chapter done! I hope to finish this story by the end of my break, so keep your fingers crossed!
Till next time, this is Gold Medal Ninja.
