Yes, dub names. Sue me, it's my nostalgic guilty pleasure.

Raye couldn't believe how much money he'd spent on her throughout the evening. Dinner in the finest resturaunt in Tokyo, a concert, a ruby necklace, a huge bouquet of her favorite lilies.
At first she'd been annoyed that Chad would spend his already limited budget on a single night's activities, that he could be so irresponsible with his money. You only turn sixteen once, she reasoned with herself as she tried to enjoy it. But as the night went on, she found she didn't even need to try.
Chad treated her like a queen, acted like a perfect gentleman, made her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. It was a little embarassing, especially his tendency to steal kisses while a crowd was near, but she couldn't remember the last time anyone had gone to such lengths for her, much less a guy.
By the time they got back to the temple, she felt as though she was walking on air.
"I had a wonderful time tonight, Chad. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate...well, everything," she said. "I only wish I'd given you something just as nice for your birthday."
"Babe, the only thing I want is to see you happy. Other than that you owe me nothing," he said. "Besides, the songbook you got me was awesome!"
She squirmed a little, her cheeks growing hot.
"I...I still can't believe you went all out for me, though! You must be broke by now!" she stammered.
"It was worth it," he said. "Raye, I've been crazy about you since I first saw you, and I knew you'd be the girl I'd gladly blow my life savings on forever...well, maybe not all of it, guy's gotta eat and your grandpa's gonna want rent, and-"
"You talk too much," she teased, and kissed him before he could say anything else.
