I'm back…kind of. I'll update my other stories as soon as I get my muse back, promise. In the mean time, I have another one here to see how it goes…

I walk, but you run, 'cause it's never enough…

There she was, singing her heart out on the stage, reaching her hand out to her fans and looking full-well like she'd go down on the guitarist at any moment.

Boy, you gotta learn that my heart's not a toy. That even if I lost your love, I won the game.

I know, and I've learned. Look at me, sing to me. Her 1st song comes to an end and she smiles at no one in particular. I imagine it's just for me. Some techy brings out a mic stand as she runs back up the 'catwalk,' yelling her thanks to the crowd and holding 3 fingers up to the band as she walks to the stand. A twirl with a smirk and her gaze lands on me. A wink and then she turns her attention to the guitarist, letting him know to start.

Somehow, everything's gonna fall right into place…

\It already has, hasn't it? How long has it been? 4 years…and your only 20.

...If we only had a way to make it all fall faster everyday…

She rocks side to side, singing with her eyes closed in the throws of the song.

If only time flew like a dove. Well, we could make it fly faster than I'm falling in love.

Falling into it? I thought we'd found something. Say it ain't so, say weore still an item.

This time we're not giving up. Let's make it laugh forever...Screamin' hallelujah! We'll make it last forever singin' hallelujah! Holdin' on to patience wearin' thin.

I know, I'm sorry. Just put up with it a little bit longer and I'll change.

I can't force these eyes to see the end.

That's what you said, but you said that you'd try to make it work. We didn't even get to start our life, not together.

If only time flew like a dove. Well, we could make it fly, just keep me in love.

Didn't I? You see me, I know, but you look at your guitarist the entire time; play it off as if you didn't. You sing to him…why?

This time we're not givin' up (Yeah!). Let's make it last forever singin' hallelujah! We'll make it last forever…

Then why don't you come home? She runs down the catwalk with fans on both sides and her oh-so-faithful guitarist following.

And we've got time on our hands. Got nothing but time on our hands. Got nothin' but, got nothin' but. Got nothin' but time on our hands. Got nothin' but, got nothin' but. Got nothin' but time on our hands.

Gyrating as closely as she could against him, I was sure she was putting on a show for me while simultaneously enjoying herself. I was, on the other hand, caught between crying, gagging, and jumping on that stage to rip her from him. I settled on sighing, knowing the show was almost done and turned to meet her backstage.

This time we're not giving up. Let's make it laugh forever...Screamin' hallelujah! We'll make it last forever singin' hallelujah! This time we're not giving up. Let's make it laugh forever...Screamin' hallelujah! We'll make it last forever singin' hallelujah! Hallelujah! HALLELUJAH!

I see the daggers in her eyes as she comes running off stage to see me, and I swear I'd die. She hasn't changed; same short, edgy hair, same red streak in it, same beautiful eyes, and the same hatred for me since the day she left.

"Jess," she says with a slight incline as she trots by. Her guitarist, I was told his name is Sano, bumps by me with a glare.

So, let me know if I should keep going or what?
