Ohhhhh Merlin...

I'm about to tell you how Draco and I had Scorpius. It all started on a cool, crisp autumn morning when the grass is all dewy and leaves are slowly whirling to the ground...

I wiped the sweat off my brow as I finally stepped back to admire the overstuffed suitcase I had just finished packing. I then walked over to my owl, Queenie and gave her the letter I had been writing to Harry. It read : 'Dear Harry, I am going to my last year at Hogwarts. I know you'll be an Auror, but how about Ron? I want to be a professor at Hogwarts. I know it's short, but it'll have to do. Love, Hermione'. I grabbed Queenie and Apparated to King's Cross Station and ran into the barrier, feeling a teensie bit lonely. I suddenly realized that Ginny and Luna would be there for their seventh years and I was pretty sure that Neville was going to finish his exams. There was about half the students there that were there last year because of the damage done to the castle and, well, because of the war. I couldn't find anyone from our year but him. I didn't realize it then, but back then he was absolutely gorgeous. Anyways, back to the story. I awkwardly sat down across from him, and he glanced up at me. "Hey, I'm sorry for being a prat before."

"Oh, it's okay."

"No, it's not. Can you not remember all those times I called you-dirty blood?" He looked like he was about to be slapped. "I was an asshole."

"Really, I forgive you. We're all a little mean sometimes. And it's not your fault. Your parents are, well, your parents, you know what I mean?" I then realized that we were actually getting along. Then, the Hogwarts Express screeched to a stop. "Whoa, I didn't think the damage was that bad."

We rode together in the carriages, both of us seeing the thestrals. When we got to the Grand Hallway, Professor McGonagall welcomed me with a warm smile and a hug.

"We needed someone like you to cheer us up. And some muscle, too." She made a gesture towards Draco.

"I'm glad to see you too, Professor."

"Go on, now." I walked to the Gryffindor table as Draco followed.
