It's a beautiful day today. The sky is clear, blue with no clouds. The sea is calm, gentle as she moves. The air is warm as it hits my face. I straighten myself; look as neat as I can Miss Swann awaits.
As I walk towards the Fort I hear the patter of hooves behind me. The carriage carries the most beautiful vision I have ever seen. Miss Swann. I can hardly see her face the white veil hides her. The dress is of the highest fashion, lots of layers. I watch as her father helps her down. They share a moment together before entering the garden where she will marry him.
I move up to the Fort, right to the spot where she fell that day. The day we encountered Jack Sparrow. I hear the proceedings begin down below. I watch as she moves down the aisle, his eyes wandering all over her body… he disgusts me. I should have told her from the moment I meet her. I love her, I love her more than he ever could or ever would.
The wedding begins. The priest goes through the usual proceedings and then… "Do you take this woman to be your wife?" There is no pause it's almost automatic, "I do". I watch him take her delicate hand I want to scream at him to let her go. For him to take his hands off her, my love. Then I am brought back to reality by, "And do you take this man to be your husband?" She pauses, my heart races hoping she will say no, say no and run to me, but she does not, "I do". My heart snaps. I cannot go on.
For months I have watched them planning. I watch him now as he lays his lips upon hers. I cannot live my life without her. Salty tears run down my cheeks. I stand at the edge. I jump.
