A/N~Misty's Point of View(P.O.V.). AAML warning. You've been warned. This is my little poem so please don't steal. I wrote it when I was feeling quite blue so forgive me if it isn't like my other poems. Thank you for reading it though.

We were meant to be
I know I've been put here by fate,
I know you were meant to be my soul mate,
But do you,
Do you take what's true?

I have been waiting for so long,
Yet how could my heart be wrong,
Should I turn back and walk away,
Or wait by your side day after day?

Yet while the world turns,
My heart yearns,
And as the sun takes place of the moon,
I pray for the day to come soon.

From the time your hand touched my face,
To the time you put me in my place,
You've meant so much to me,
But yet you still do not see.

As still as the water in the lake,
As much as my heart can take,
I yearn for you to hold me,
And for us to walk along the sea.

But my love will wait for that day,
When I will find the courage to say,
The three words I can do,
I love you.

I know your still to young to understand,
But when you touch hand,
It gets to my heart,
I choke up and don't know where to start.

Love isn't a game,
I just hope you feel the same,
I don't want to hurt your heart,
Nor tear it apart.

Through all the sleepless nights,
Through all the days fights,
I looked into your eyes,
And to my heart's surprise.

You looked back to me,
You knew my heart was the key,
To the ultimate treasure,
You and me forever.

The day we stood face to face,
I knew this was my place,
For you to hold me in your arms,
Protect me and keep me safe and warm.

But as the morning brings a new day,
I open my eyes with nothing to say,
It all was a dream that my heart wanted,
For you to be here and do what you did.

The things in my heart,
For if it does not tear us apart,
It will make us stronger,
Together just you and me.

One day my dreams will come true,
As long you are you,
And I still believe that you and me,
Were meant to be.
