Jack and Elsa: Together Under the Stars
"Sometimes, I can't help but wonder what goes on inside your head," he said, a small smile on his face.
She glanced at him, at his quiet blue eyes, and sighed softly. The wind whispered around them, the grass tickled their backs, and the crickets sang, hidden in the trees. It was a perfect night, with the stars twinkling in the clear night sky. He drew patterns on her arm as he waited, knowing her answer would come eventually. Finally, she responded. "I do too, Jack. I do too."
She cuddled into his side, seeking comfort in the scent of his body.
"It's okay," he replied, brushing back a strand of white blonde hair from her face. "I love you regardless of your muddled thoughts."
She smiled an unseen smile, and twisted to kiss his jaw. "Love you too," she murmured. "Regardless of your obsession with sweets."
He peered down at her, and tilted her chin up so they were staring at each other. "You're crazy. I'm not-"
"Yes, you are," she interrupted, grinning. "You are obsessed and it's okay. I can handled your bouts of insanity."
He raised a silver eyebrow, his mouth twisted into a smirk. "The only thing I'm obsessed with is you, Elsa dearest." His fingers attacked her sides, tickling and teasing her into hysteric giggling. Her face became flushed, a pretty pink he could never get enough of.
"Stop!" She screamed, laughing. "Stop right now, Jackson Overl-"
He renewed his efforts, his body shaking with laughter. As they lay panting afterwards, their sides aching, she twirled their fingers together, and squeezed. He squeezed back.
The stars shone brilliantly above them, glittering like diamonds on a midnight canvas.
