A/N So this is just a silly little thing because it seemed the boys had forgotten some crucial aspects of their own past in the last episode. Spoilers for 12x06 'Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox'. Hope you enjoy. And obviously I own nothing.

"No it can't be Dean!" Sam said with such conviction it almost surprised the others. Or it would have if they hadn't heard the stories about the Winchester brothers.

"And how the hell can you be so sure about that?" Bucky challenged.

"We both have anti-possession tattoos," Sam said like it should be obvious, tugging down the left side of his shirt a little to expose the pentagram tattoo beneath his collar-bone. "I mean, most of you guys probably do as well right? Or something else, like Jody has a charm bracelet with an anti-possession symbol…"

Jody held up her wrist where the silver charm Bobby had given her hung from a leather cord. The others exchanged uncomfortable glances.

"Right well, it's gotta be the girl then, anyone got holy water?" Bucky tried to change the subject, patting his pockets and looking around.

Sam looked even more exasperated and rolled his eyes in what Mary had learned to recognise as his bitch-face - Dean's main purpose in life seemed to be to provoke his brother enough for it to make an appearance.

"Right," Sam sighed, "how about Christo?"

When the girl flinched and her eyes flashed red he gestured meaningfully towards her just as the front-door glowed and Dean suddenly fell through.

"How did you… what did you…?" Elvis stammered, everyone momentarily forgetting about the demon in their midst.

"Billy," Dean grunted, getting to his feet, like that should mean anything.

"Dude!" Sam groaned… so apparently it did mean something.

"Don't worry about it, she just said I owe her one."

"And does owing a reaper a favour seem like a good idea to you?" Sam insisted, making another bitch-face very similar to the one before.

"Whatever, I said don't worry about it, what's going on here?"

"She's a demon," Sam gestured, and Dean raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"I thought you were all hunters. You don't have anti-possession tattoos?" he looked around the room in consternation noting that the previously so enthusiastic crowd were avoiding his eyes.

Exorcising the demon proved fairly straight-forward after that and further casualties were avoided.

As Dean pulled the Impala onto the highway he shook his head and looked at Sam.

"Seriously dude. No anti-possession tattoos or charms or anything? Freaking amateurs!"
