Summary: This is just another story that has popped into my head. Yeah it's a bit..okay alot..weird but I thought it was a good idea. Maybe it isn't but I will only know if I get some reviews. So it basically focuses on Ruthie and Simon and how close they really are. This is around the time when Simon was about 15-16 and Ruthie was like 13. So enjoy or whatever. AND REVIEW!
Chapter One.
Ruthie heard Simon come in through the back door. He slammed it shut as he tried to find his way to the stairs. He was drunk again. She heard him stumble a few times and each time he did, another tear rolled down her cheek. She hated seeing him like this but their parents went on a vacation with Sam and David so it was basically Ruthie, Simon, Lucy, and Kevin in the house. And Lucy & Kevin stay in the garage. Kevin tried talking with Simon but he just couldn't get through to him.
Simon found his way into his bedroom and closed the door behind him. He fell onto the bed. Ruthie got up and went downstairs. She knocked on his door lightly.
"Simon? You ok," She asked in a worried whisper.
"Huh? Ruthie?"
"Yeah."
"Come in if ya want." He slurred his words a bit but not too much.
She opened the door slowly and he didn't look like such a mess compared to last Friday.
"Do you need anything, maybe some water...or a bucket." She muttered the last part.
"Hey! I'm not drunk or whatever..so st-top, stop talking like that!" He gave her a dirty look but his expression changed quickly as she began to cry. "Ruthie. What's wrong, I didnt mean it." He got up and wrapped his arms around her.
She leaned against him as his grip tightened on her. She could smell the beer on his shirt and the smell of marijuana. He rubbed her back soothingly as she began to stop crying. She looked up at him.
"I hate when you go out to those stupid parties!"
"I'm sorry. It's just.." He stared into her eyes. "I love you Ruthie."
"I love you too Simon. Youre my big brother and-"
She stopped in mid-sentence as Simon pressed his lips against Ruthie's. She pulled back but he kept his hold on her.
"Simon!"
"Youre just so amazing and youre beautiful Ruthie. I love you."
"But you just kissed me!"
"Because I love you. Its just a brother-sister kiss."
"Simon, no. I dont think-"
He kissed her again but this time he lifted her up and onto the bed. He kept his lips attached to hers as he held her waist firmly. She pushed him back a bit.
"Please just stop."
"It's okay Ruthie. We're just having a lil fun like we used to when we were little. Don't you remember?"
"Yes of course but it wasn't like this."
"Please Ruthie? I promise it'll be okay. Don't you trust me?"
"Yes. But-"
"Please?"
She didn't respond. He smiled and kissed her cheek as he began to kiss other parts of her.
