A.N.: Thanks to all who reviewed my other stories! A big thanks to Dalton, who was with me all the way (And offered me a hug, even though he lives across the Atlantic from me ^.^)

This is different from my last Merlin story, and I'm not planning on using people's POV's, I hope you like it!!

Arthur sighed, pacing his rooms. He couldn't believe just what he was feeling, and more over, who he was feeling this for. He was the Crown Prince of Camelot; he could not be gay! Unable to keep still, he started walking through the castle, thinking about the first time he had seen him. He had been visiting Gaius, because he had drunk a little too much the night before, and Merlin had rushed in, followed by Lancelot. One look and Arthur was locked. He'd never really believed in love at first sight until that day, but he did now. From that first sight of Lancelot, sweaty and out of breath, he couldn't stop thinking about the man. Arthur's feelings got even stronger when he found out that Lancelot had saved Merlin's life.

Merlin sighed; wishing Arthur would notice him more. He'd fallen for the prince gradually, thinking that -at the beginning- his feelings were of respect, until the dreams started. Wonderful dreams, but dreams he would never tell anybody about, because it would probably get him killed. He wanted so much to tell the prince how he felt, but he could see how he felt about Lancelot. The problem was, as far as he knew, Lancelot was straight. Merlin was pretty sure of it, and he could usually tell if people were gay, he just felt it. He didn't know why, maybe it was because he was gay. Merlin shook his head, trying to control his errant thoughts as he thought of Arthur.

Lancelot shook his head, watching Arthur and Merlin as they trained, although Arthur was the only one training. Merlin was just falling over alot. Lancelot had spoken to Gwen and Morgana about the pair numerous times. He had found out that they thought that Merlin liked Arthur, but Arthur liked someone else. Lancelot sighed at the memory.

Flashback

"Lancelot, you can't tell anyone!" Morgana hissed as he went to leave. Lancelot turned. "Wait," he said, realising something. "If Arthur doesn't like Merlin, but you think he likes someone in this castle, someone male who do you think he likes?" He asked, looking thoughtful. Gwen looked at Morgana, before walking up. "We're not sure, Lancelot. Now come on, or Arthur will send someone up looking for you!" She had said, before pushing him out of the door.

Back to the actual time!

He'd been thinking about who it could've been for a while, refusing to put his name in. He wasn't homophobic or anything, but he wasn't gay either. He looked over at the pair again, and realised just how much Merlin liked Arthur. The boy was running after him, carrying all his armour, but he didn't seem to mind. seriously, he was actually smiling! Lancelot sighed, shaking his head before getting up and walking towards his quarters in the castle.

Five hours later, Lancelot sighed. Someone was knocking on his door, and it was almost midnight. he got up and walked over to the door, annoyed. He was surprised to see an upset Merlin standing outside the door, holding a bouquet. Lancelot frowned, "Merlin, what are you doing here?" he asked, still frowning. Merlin looked up slightly, and Lancelot saw that he was in real pain. He looked awful, there were tearstains on his cheeks. "I-I was asked to give you this." he said, holding out the bouquet. It was made up of red and white roses. "Thanks you Merlin." I said, opening the door a little more. "Would you like to come in? You look terrible." Merlin shook his head. "The Prince told me to return as soon as I'd given you his flow-" He said, before clapping a hand over his mouth. "I've, umm got to go!" he said, before rushing away.
