Lily started to walk away from Rufus' concert as soon as it finished

So this is my first Gossip Girl fic. It's a one shot about the night when Rufus and Lily kissed after his concert and Lily's thoughts about the whole thing. Please review, tell me what you think.

Get Out of My Way, Rufus

Lily started to walk away from Rufus' concert as soon as it finished. Only, he was fast enough to run after her and stood there blocking her way. He was so irresistible, but still she wished he would get out of her way so she wouldn't be tempted to do anything. It was after all, the night before her wedding.

"Get out of my way, Rufus." she told him.

"No." he said, still standing exactly on the same spot. Lily tried to get passed him but he just moved in front of her again.

"Get out of my way." Lily told him again, this time more despairing. She knew he wouldn't let her go.

"No." Rufus said again, even more clearly than before. She tilted her head and gave a tiny smile. She couldn't resist him any longer. She took a step forward in to his arms, and her lips were drawn right to his like a magnet. He returned the kiss passionately right away, quicker than she thought. She thought he would have been surprised. But apparently he knew her too well. Better than she knew her self these days, really. He was soon stroking his hands down her back, while she slid her hands from his face all the way down his firm chest. Then they deepened the kiss, while both holding each other tighter. She couldn't help it. She was drawn to him more than anything else in this world, and she just wanted to hold him, kiss him, and have him. But it was Rufus - her teenage love who still played in a band. How could she suddenly have feelings for him? She was a rich, spoiled woman from the upper-eastside of Manhattan for God's sake. She had a reputation. But she also had feelings for Rufus Humphrey. She couldn't run away from that, and she wouldn't. She felt so safe in his well-known arms.

"Rufus." she moaned. He pulled away from the kiss, very against her will she had to admit.

"What?" he asked with a big grin on his face. She didn't even know why she said that. Or actually she did – she loved him. She couldn't help but saying his name.

"Nothing – I just don't want to let you go." Lily simply said. She couldn't say that other thing. She was getting married tomorrow.

"Come on." he said. He took her by the hand and let her backstage in the building into a private room. As soon as they got inside, they picked up where they left off. This time she could clearly tell from Rufus' kiss that he wanted her right now. The fact that he dragged her into this tiny room, instead of taking her all the way home of course showed it too. But Lily couldn't wait either. She started ripping off his shirt, and him her coat and dress. Lily got carried away and forgot all about her wedding while making love to Rufus. Because this was true love, she knew that for sure.

"I love you." Rufus whispered to her on the way back to his place. They sat close together on the backseat of a cab, his arm around her. Lily sighed. When did this get so complicated? She put her head to rest on his shoulder. Why did that man have to be so damn irresistible?
