A/N: This is a (really) little something I wanted to share because well, I was in the middle of writing something else but this just sorta popped up in my head and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down and... I actually liked it. Enjoy it and please, review.

I don't own Supernatural, nor its characters. *sad emoji*

Dean opened his eyes to a dime light entering through the curtains of the room. He look at the shape next to him on the bed. Its warmth and softness and scent were like nothing he ever felt before. The black hair pointed in every possible direction and he was convinced that this was the work of a djinn or one of the creepy things that crawled in the dark. A spark of fear shone on his mind.

When the figure turned over its back and to look directly at him, the warmth grew on Dean's chest. Long, dark eyelashes and a sigh greeted him and he reached the face in front of him. His thumb ran across the jaw and stopped at the cheek, caressing it. How could something so beautiful exist? And what had he done to deserve such thing?

A smile appeared on his face when the other person started to wake. The sunlight was barely entering the room, but there was a bright white light traveling directly to those closed eyes. They started moving and blinking lazily. Amidst the haze of the night before, Dean couldn't have expected anything more perfect.

The eyes opened and a sea of blue flooded Dean's mind. His thoughts and dreams and fears were all covered with ocean. A smirk saluted the absent-minded smile on his face. An arm wrapped him under the blankets and pushed him against the other body. The warmth was now all around him. Dean closed his eyes shut and breathed as if it was his last chance to do so, and a scent of grass and walnuts and sea breeze filled his lungs. His own arms marked an unknown -until last night- back and ran all the way to the shoulders and the head. He pushed his lips to the forehead that was on his shoulder just three seconds before and opened his eyes again.

Dean looked down just to find the angel smiling at him, devotion, sweetness and nothing but pure love on those heart-aching blue eyes. And he couldn't but smile back.

"Good things do happen, Dean."

But Dean just kissed Castiel's lips and went back to sleep with his angel wrapped on his arms.
