AN: Quick one-shot based on new season 3 promo and ANOTHER rewatch (ok like 15th LOL) of the S2 finale eps
Gabi watched Josh's face as she waved goodbye. He said he just wanted her to be happy, but now she was sure she was the one to make him happy.
Once they arrived at Coachella and got started, Gabi was excited about following her dream but her heart wasn't in it. She missed Josh. The next day she was taking a break from cooking when a fancy silver car drove up to her and a man dressed in a black sweater and jeans got out.
"Gabi!" Josh ran up to her. "Gabi I have missed you and I couldn't wait another moment without saying this: I want to be with you."
"Seriously?! I...I have missed you too." Gabi was sad.
"What's wrong?"
"I realized that I make you happy, and that you make me happy too. Ever since we got here I was excited about this opportunity, but I haven't been excited about cooking." Gabi explained as her eyes welled up a little.
Josh immediately hugged her tight. "I've made such a mess of us, of everything. Can you forgive me?" as Gabi's tears started to fall.
"Gabi, of course I forgive you. I want you to be happy and if I'm the one for that, then I'm happy too." Josh wiped away her tears and held her tighter. Gabi held him just as tight, not ever wanting to let go.
Josh slowly lifted her chin to look her in the eyes. "Hey," he whispered. He lowered his face to hers and kissed her sweetly. Their foreheads touched as they shared a smile.
