"So basically what you're saying is that if you weren't reading, you would wanna do something with me?" Beast Boy waggled his eyebrows at Raven with a small smirk.
With one eyebrow raised and small smirk in place, Raven kept reading, not saying a word.
Before Beast Boy could say a single word, the alarm for trouble went off, and Robin yelled, "Titans, go!", causing all the titans to spring into action. Beast Boy transforming into a hawk, Raven making a black portal, Starfire grabbing Cyborg by his arms and Robin driving there on his R-Cycle.
Once they reached the middle of town, they couldn't have been more surprised. There, in the middle of all the Slade Bots, was Terra. She was desperately fighting them off, and then one of them came from behind her and grabbed both her arms, restraining her and dragging her away.
"Titans, go!" Robin yelled for the second time, starting to fight off the Slade Bots that were wreaking havoc in the middle of Jump. "Star, you get Terra! The rest of you, fight!"
Starfire set Cyborg down to fight off the Slade bots, and then flew over to Terra. Beast Boy was still trying to process what he was seeing, so he didn't go lunging for Terra right away like he would have.
"Let! Me! Go!" Terra shrieked, trying to get away from the Slade Bot. Starfire blasted the robot in the face and wrenched the arms off of Terra, who gave her a grateful look.
"Thanks, I owe you one." Terra smiled, and with a quick nod from Starfire, started battling to robots once more. Finally, the Slade Bots were defeated and the titans stood in the middle of the rubble, all looking at Terra.
"Uh, hey." Terra awkwardly waved. Starfire pulled her into a bone crushing hug.
"Dear friend, I have missed you so!" Starfire squealed.
"I haven't really had time to miss you, but I definitely haven't missed the hugs." Terra managed to squeak out, causing Starfire to release her and smile sheepishly.
"How are you here?" Robin questioned, walking over to Terra. "Why were you fighting the Slade Bots? Does this mean you aren't in league with Slade anymore?"
"One; that's a bit of an explanation so we should probably discuss it once we're at the tower with some extra guests. Two and three; I was trying to make your guys' jobs easier and also try to apologize by fighting these tin cans and no, I don't associate with that thing anymore." Terra replied, brushing some blonde hair out of her hair.
"Why are you even here? What makes you think any of us would want to even talk to you after what you did?" Everyone turned to look at Beast Boy, who apparently was the one who spoke, his hands balled into fists.
"Listen, I know you all probably hate me and wish I was still dead but I have a reason for being back. It involves Slade," At this Robin turned his full attention on Terra, "and also, Trigon." Terra finished, looking at Raven.
"He's trying to come back." Raven stated with a dull tone. "Isn't he?"
Terra nodded. "But I can help."
very short, but what do you think? interesting yet? would anyone like me to continue? if so, yes the chapters will be longer. much longer. this is abnormally short because I don't know if anyone will be interested in this so im posting this to see.
