Author's disclaimer - I only own the plot :3 first Amagi Brilliant Park story, I know it's short but I hope you like it ^^

Isuzu Sento was a paranoid person. You might not think it with her rough exterior and ability to summon guns from thin air. But she was.

Growing up in a military family, it was l about being good enough for her parents. Completing missions to the highest standard and everything else that they looked for in a model child. Now that she had left Maple land and worked at the park, she had changed her priority for who she needed to be the best for. Kanie.

She was his secretary and helped him run the park, but that didn't mean she wasn't paranoid that she wasn't good enough. Lots of people had commented, complained really, about her approach to the park and how matters should be dealt with. Sento knew that was only doing what she thought would be best for Kanie, but what if she was wrong? What if Kanie agreed that she was too harsh or too direct? What if he didn't want her anymore?

Sento had recently admitted to herself that she might indeed have a slight crush on Kani, only slight of course (when she was lying). Which in turn made working for him a lot more difficult as she wanted to be everything he wanted her to be. She was always on the lookout for anyone who might try to steal her post to get close to Kanie. With all the new female employees she was even more aware that she had to be on top.

Kanie knew Sento had her paranoid days. He thought it was adorable. Sometimes she'd come and ask if she needed to change anything or if he wanted someone else. Of course Kanie would never agree to any of those things, he often chuckled about how sweet it was and it was in those moments that he wanted to hold her close and kiss her. But he was not ready to do that yet, not just yet.

When Kanie would comfort Sento it always made her blush. He would put his hand on her shoulder and look into her eyes and say "Hey, you're still my secretary aren't you?" and laugh a little. To Sento that meant the world. She knew that he cared for her and not just as his secretary, and for Sento that was enough for her to know for now. For now.
