Discalimer:- I don't own Star Wars, or any of the charachters associated with it. I wish I did ... But sadly not, enjoy!
His lightsaber ignited, followed by an eerie red glow which erupted onto Sun-Yab's distinguished face. His eyes showed no fear, just hate, as he gazed up into the eyes of his former master. Master Windu showed no emotion, he no longer recognised the young boy before him. Sun-Yab had been a popular student, who had impressed all the other masters. He was handsome, with long dark hair and olive eyes. He alone as a young padawon was responsible for saving Master Windu from a certain death, but now he gazed into his master's eyes with pure loathing, raising his lightsaber into attack position.
It was then it happened, the sky darkened instantly as putrid cloud engulfed the Sun. Sun-Yab jumped, taking advantage of this unexpected phenomenon. Master Windu, unable to see, withdrew his lightsaber and lunged into the air. He was rewarded with a hum and clash as the two sabers locked in combat. Windu swung his saber to where he assumed was Sun-Yab's head, it was blocked. He was then blown of his feet, a trickle of blood rolled down the side of his head as he collided with extreme force into an invisible object behind him.
Suddenly, the Sun came back into view. Master Windu had collided into a cliff face and moving towards him with immeasurable speed. His young padawon screamed towards him, about to skewer him like a kebab. Windu jumped, as his padawon collided with the cliff face. Windu landed beside Sun, and then swung his saber at him. It was blocked!
What Windu couldn't understand was why? Why Sun-yab had saved his own life, and was now trying to take it back. This young padawon had no reason to turn to the Dark side. He wasn't influenced easily, and had so much talent with a lightsaber. The Dark side was almost second best to him. So why ?
Crash! The red saber slammed into its counterpart. Sun-yab was physically stronger than his master. His muscles bulged as he firmly gripped his saber, pushing it towards his master's throat. But he was having doubts; he didn't want to be here. He wasn't even sure if Count Dooku would keep his word. But what he did know is that if he didn't kill his master, and if he refused to become Dooku's apprentice, his sister would be executed.
He fired a bolt of pure energy at his master.
The bolt of lightning hit Windu in the chest, propelling him backwards. He landed, badly, but returned to attack position and threw his saber towards Sun-yab. It seemed to move in slow motion, rotation slowly in the air. It struck Sun-yab squarely in the chest and Mace Windu watched as his young padawon dropped to the ground, laying to rest in a pool of blood.
Windu gazed down in disgust. How could Sun-Yab have been so foolish to turn to the Dark side? He was just about to turn and leave when he heard a faint stutter.
"M-M-Ma-master… Please… he-help …."
"You deserve this Sun, I'm sorry, your on your own."
"N-n-no, n-n-not me, please, go to Geonosis. Find my sister." And with great effort he reached up and held his Masters robes with blood-stained hands. In a whisper he murmured:
"He caught her, and forced me to-to kill you. Now I have failed he will surely … execute her. Master, please …"
Master Windu felt his grip on his robes lessen. Sun-Yab slumped and silently laid to rest.
"Why?" Windu asked, suddenly beside himself, kneeling by Sun-Yabs side. "Why did he kidnap her, and why does he want ME dead?"
"He wants …. Wants… your…"
His eyelids flickered. And then became motionless. Sun-yab's body, glew strongly, and then vanished. He had become one with the force.
