This is somewhat of a prequel to "A Mercenary's Tale" Its Daken's raider gang's journey from the Pitt to Old Olney. This Series takes place where The Pitt DLC was never visited by The Lone Wanderer, resulting in the possible slave uprising. The unmarked quest where you fund the caravans is completed as well, so Canterbury Commons has a thriving economy resulting in more traveling caravans in the capital wasteland. The entire story takes place around 6 years after the events of Fallout 3 and 2 years after the events of New Vegas. Also weapons from Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are readily available.

From the safehouse in Haven, Grave leveled her .308 DKS-498 sniper rifle. She lined up her scope on a Trog scampering across the plaza in Uptown. The .308 round struck the Trog in the neck, the feral abomination dropped like a leaf.

It has been one month since the fall of the Pitt. Eventually after all of the Foundries and Factories had been picked clean, many of the Raiders and Slavers left, to find work in Paradise Falls or Evergreen Mills. With the lack of guards, the slaves attempted a revolution, the charged into Uptown and destroyed the lights that kept the Trogs at bay, They slashed the barricades and fences with Auto-Axes and Steel Saws. After the sabotage hordes of Trogs rushed into Uptown, Slaughtering the slaves and any unfortunate Raiders fighting off the slaves.

Several days after the breach, Wild Men started moving through the city killing raiders and surviving slaves alike. Besides a few small possible pockets of survivors, Daken speculated his crew was the last bunch of Raiders in the city. Between the Slaves, Trogs and Wild Men, the city turned into a raging battleground. During the day, the risk of Trogs diminished but during the night it wasn't safe to be out.

Grave stood up from her sniping position on the rooftop of the Safehouse. She walked over and opened the door going down into the Apartment.

In the farthest room on the third floor Daken sat at an old metal desk, his feet, in his combat boots propped up on the desk. His trench coat was slung across the back of his chair. on the desk in front of him, he had two scoped .44 magnums, a Chinese officers sword, and a small stack of "Guns and Bullets" magazines.

Next to the door sat Daken's bodyguard Bael, the giant bodygaurd was greasing up his custom super sledge. Grave holstered her sniper rifle and walked through the door. As she walked through the door, into the office, she glanced at Bael, who in turn glared at Grave. Grave walked up to the desk, and said "Daken, its not safe here, we need to leave the Pitt"

Daken sighed,"I know, I have been considering the notion, spread the word, we leave tomorrow."

End Notes

The Sniper Rifle used in Fallout 3 is a an older model of the DKS-501 .223 used in Fallout 1 and 2. I decided to give the model of the Fallout 3 rifle as DKS-498 as a homage and since it is a older model.
