The Ryuk Poems Collection

Poem Number One

Creature of darkness

Not a creature of light

He is Ryuk the shinigami

That's right

Poem Number Two

Apple of my eye

Always in my sights

Willing to take a bite

Because to a shinigami apples in the human world

Are juicy with delight because they taste just right

Poem Number Three

Reading the names of the humans

In the realm of the living

Killing humans is so unfulfilling

The king of feeling that isn't so unstable

Poem Number Four

A land of barned space

What a shame to waste

The shinigami realm is just a waste of space

Poem Number Five

Floating creatures

Invisible to everyone's sight

Turely get a fright when they touch the Death Note

At anytime day or night

Poem Number Six

We can't die

So shinigami take another extra life

So why should they lie

Poem Number Seven

A bullet right between thee eyes

And the shinigami didn't even die

The hallucinating suspect doesn't know why

Until the shinigami tells him that's why

Poem Number Eight

Black and blue in the face

Yellow eyes with red pupils

Taking in every human name around the place

How long they'll have to live and their age

Poem Number Nine

Oh my

But a shinigami named Ryuk

Wouldn't dare write a human name in his death note if he tried

A fear of turning to nothing but dust

Is something dear old Ryuk is trying to avoid

He is intrigued by the human world

And loves the taste of the apples in the human world rather than his own

With a sarcastic sense of humor

Reminding Light of the effects the Death Note have on him time and time again
