A/N: Believe it or not, but from this super short one-shot I actually conjured another story of mine, Little Brother. I have no exact Idea why, but my mind made this story upon hearing the song, specifically the part written below. Anyhow, I think best to publish this as well. Enjoy!

Forgive and Forget

"So how are you feeling?" Edmund asked as he checked out his brother's bed chambers. It was almost as big as his but his furniture was another matter. Peter fitted his left boot before looking up at his brother.

"About?" He asked.

"Our coronation later." Edmund walked in and sat on the huge bed in the middle of the room. He almost fell back since he literally sunk in the cushions.

"Nervous... No, more of excited. Wait, scratch that. More nervous than excited definitely." Peter stood in front of his brother while putting on his cape. Edmund gave a small laugh.

"So am I." He answered. "Here, let me help you with that." Edmund stood up and reached his hands up and fastened the cloth to the buckle that hung just below his brother's neck.

"Thanks. I don't think I could stand this kind of clothing." Peter adjusted his collar to a comfortable angle. The younger mused at how his brother had been the one looking after them, helping their mum ever since their father

had tone to war. It was rare to hear him say thank you, he was more often to say you're welcome since it was always he who does what needs to be done. He remembered how such a nuisance he had been for his brother and

how much trouble he had caused in another world in such a short amount of time. Edmund's smile faded and his eyes fell down cast. The elder noticed this at once and placed a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Is anything

wrong?" Peter caught the brunette's eyes. "You can tell me."

Edmund hesitated but the look from his brother's concerned sea blue eyes made him say: "I just wanted to apologize."

"Whatever for?"

"Back in England and earlier..." Peter knew perfectly well what his brother was getting at and did his best to reassure his brother that he was forgiven.

"Ed, you don't need to apologize for that. Remember what Aslan said that what's past is past. You are forgiven by everything you might have done. The impprtant thing is..." Peter gave his brother a warm smile.

"What?" A glint of happiness was evident in the younger one's brown eyes as he looked up at his brother. Peter widened his smile amd hugged his brother, "I got my brother back, not the spiteful child that took his place but the

boy I had grew up with... I'm simply happy to have you back, Edmund."

Edmund smiled against his brother's chest and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Peter." Peter broke the embrace and gave another smile.

"Still nervous?"

"Yes."

"Me too, but I guess we're expected to avoid this kind of excitements after the coronation."

"Maybe."

"We better get going, we won't want to be late." The two left with smiles on their faces and a bright future ahead of them.

"Now, we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget"
