HELEN'S NOTE: So this is just a little bit of nothing that has no storyline, no smut and actually no point but hey... it's been written so... tough. If you have anything to say, there's a little green button at the bottom that would love to hear your thoughts.

CHELLE'S NOTE: Well I'm not going to be mean about this like someone *rollseyes* but I do hope you enjoy the little bit of nothing. It was just an exercise to get us back into writing together and there needs to be more S/R loving back in the archive!

"When you said you were taking me out for a bite to eat, Robbie, I genuinely thought you meant actual food."

The team had been working on an extremely tough case that had, for some reason, hit home for Burke and he'd demanded that it be solved pronto. This had involved no going home, irregular meals and the idea of getting any sleep was a taboo. They'd solved the case two hours previously and they'd had their little coffee celebration – all of them too tired or hungry too actually go to the pub and celebrate – when Robbie had asked Stuart if he wanted to grab a bite to eat before they headed home.

"Oh come on, you've always said I could bring you here so that we could share my favourite sundae!" He said moving into the ice cream parlour, his grin one of a small child as he picked up one of the menus and headed to one of the booths. Stuart knew better than to argue with him so he just followed and sat across from his partner.

"I know and I did say we could eventually come but did it have to be the day when we've not eaten normal food in three days so the first real meal we're getting is an ice cream sundae."

"Dude, that'll make it the best thing you've ever tasted then!" He indicated and without even having to order, the waitress had come over with the large ice cream sundae and handed Robbie two spoons. "Come on, live dangerously and then I'll take you out for a nice meal tonight?" Stuart was going to argue but the puppy dog eye caused him to groan.

"You actually kill me, Robbie." He said leaning over and scooping up some of the dessert and putting it into his mouth. Oh boy, Robbie was right. The minute the ice cream hit his taste buds, he was in heaven. His body rejoicing that it had food again and that he was breaking his strict diet plans and letting them have something so sweet. He groaned and Robbie smiled at him.

"I kill you? I don't even entice that kind of sound out of you!" Robbie laughed before scooping up a spoon of the ice cream. "You should feel honoured. I've never let anyone share this with me before," he was saying but before he could say anything a spoon of ice cream landed on the corner of his mouth and he glared at Stuart. The guy was in actual hysterics at his side of the table because of the shocked expression Robbie was sending his way. Robbie couldn't help but smile though because he'd never seen Stuart so relaxed in a long time.

"I'm sorry. I don't even know what came over me. I suppose I am really tired after all." He laughed before leaning over the table and licking at the ice cream that rested on his partner's lip, a tired smile highlighting his face. "Thank you for sharing this with me." Robbie burst out laughing and pressed a kiss to Stuart's lips; the sharing of the ice cream a little more literal now but that didn't bother the pair of them.

"Well if this is the thanks I get," he muttered against his partner's lips, "I'm learning how to make them at home." Stuart groaned against his lips and pulled him in for another kiss.
