Tears in Heaven
SPOILERS for Rock this Town and The Bitterest Pill
James Tiberious Yorke. That name floated around in all of their heads. It took their mind off of every bit of thing they did. They didn't want to believe it, their friend, someone they loved had gone. They weren't the same. They all wished they could turn back time to stop this from happening.
Manny wished she had never suggested having the party. Emma wished she hadn't thrown the party. Liberty wished she wouldn't have ran out causing Jt to go after her. Toby he wished he hadn't told him to go tell Liberty how he felt. They all think they could have stopped this from happening. The memories all came back to them. They all sit there sitting in a chair, one next to another.
They were all crying; they all wished this not to be true. That this was just some awful nightmare they have yet to wake up from. They were holding hands. All they're memories went back to the last things they didn't want to remember.
"Oh yeah mascot boy laugh at this"
"Somebody help"
"You can talk to me I'm his brother"
"I'm sorry he's gone"
"What happened is he okay?"
People started to go walk up the casket where they're friend laid. Neither one of them went they all waited for some kind of noise to wake them. They all waited for it, but it never came, that's when reality caught up to them. They're friend. Her love. He was Gone. They'd never see him again. They'd never hear his jokes. They'd never see the smile that made them all laugh when they didn't even want to smile. One by one they all got up, they all walked up to the casket, and they joined hands and cried. Cried for Life, for death, for JT.
Liberty looked away for awhile. She couldn't take it. She though she could see something out the corner of her eye. She looked around for what she saw, she saw it again, it was JT, and a smile grew upon her face. The image disappeared as did her smile. She looked at JT's body in the casket. More tears started to run down her face. She missed him. They all did. It was like one moment he's there at Liberty's party having fun enjoying life and the next he's here laying there no motion, no breath, no nothing. He's gone. They still didn't want to believe it. Why him? He did nothing wrong. But knowing this is wrong doesn't change what happened.
They all know it's going to be hard with him not around. They all wish they could turn back the hands of time. They'd give anything to see him, hear him, anything. They all know he up in heaven smiling down. They are all living on memories, that's what's getting them through the day. They still can't believe he's gone. They all know he's living his life even after death. He has a special place in all of their hearts. And that's where they'll keep their friend till they meet again. They try to black out the memory of the doctor telling them he's gone but it always plays again. They all looked down at their friend, they say their good-byes and with that they walk off still in tears they know together they will get through this.
