Soooooo, when I found out that the last thing that Hermione's smelled in the love potion was Ron's hair (confirmed by JK Rowling), I decided to write this.

As Harry, Hermione, and I made our way to a table that was closest to the gold-colored potion, I couldn't help letting the scent coming out of it overpower me. I took a deep breath and let the smell fill me up.

The first thing that I smelled was the scent of old books, sort of like the ones that filled the Hogwarts library. I inhaled again, thinking of large volumes and dusty pages.

The second thing I smelled was the smell of a Chocolate Frog. To someone else, it might have been silly to smell food in the most powerful love potion in the world, but to me, the smell of chocolate was so bloody attractive and mouth-watering.

The third and last thing that I smelled was something that I couldn't really identify. It was a bit peachy, a smell that I identified with soft skin. I looked to my left and saw Harry smiling and me. I lazily grinned back, then turned my gaze to my right.

I saw Hermione, sitting with her eyes closed and inhaling deep breaths. I was glad that her eyes were closed, because if they weren't, she would have seen me blushing so furiously for no reason that I could see for myself. It's not like I identified the peachy smell with her skin. No, it was definitely the fumes of the potion getting to my head. There is no way in hell that I would smell Hermione in my love potion.

Okay, the title of this was inspired by the YouTube fan video I Love You, I Swear That's True. SERIOUSLY, GO WATCH IT! It's the only Harry Potter fan video that's made me cry.
