Chase Laviscount-Chapter 3
A 13 year old Chase was running through the forest, training to be in the Vampire Council's army. He was running from Katherine, she was testing how fast he was. He halted to a stop at the edge of the forest, and smiled at his mother. "Was I good mother? Was I fast enough?" She smiled and hugged him. "Yes, yes you were my darling." She said, and he grinned. "I can't wait to start my first day in the council's army tomorrow, mother. Do you think they will like me? Do I match their standards?" He said, looking at his mother for the truth. "Yes! Yes, you are ABOVE their standards. I knew you would be a perfect Vampire soldier." She replied, almost bursting with pride.
-The Next Day-
Chase was now in the vampire army; the council had loved him and had put him straight to the front. But his mother had one request. "I want you to kill somebody for me, Chase my darling." She said. His face lost its smile. Chase did not like killing innocent people, apart from the people the council told him to, that's how he was raised, but he did not like killing innocent people, not under his mother's orders, not after what he did to Elena all those years ago. "I want you to kill a woman called Isobella Laviscount." She said. He looked confused at the last name, as his was also Laviscount. "Is she any relation to me?" He asked, and his mother looked away. "I think it's about time I told you everything, about your father, and how you was born." After she had explained to him, he was horrified.
"You took an innocent woman's husband away from her by turning him into a vampire, getting pregnant by him and then killing him? Mother, you killed my father! Made me kill my sister! And now you want me to kill my step-mother?" He hissed. His mother shot an evil glare at him. "I did not! Make you kill your sister! You did that on your own, I told you to bite her! It's not my fault you're too weak and can't control your self around blood." He picked her up by her throat and slammed her against the nearest wall. He tightened his grip and spat at her, "Weak am I?" He said. She chuckled and spat back, "You wouldn't dare. You don't have the guts." She replied, smirking. "Oh really?" He shouted. Her smirk widened. "Really." She said, and he stuck his hand in to her chest, and pulled it back out, her heart in his hand. He let go of her neck and she dropped to the floor. He looked at the heart, then at the body, and dropped the heart on to the floor, and turned and walked away.
-2 Years later-
Chase was running through the forest, having smelt out a human. He ran faster and got the human, and slammed the woman to the floor. "What's your name?" He growled, glaring in to the panicking woman's eyes. "Isobella... Isobella Laviscount." She squealed. He glared at her, having too much bloodlust in his body to recognize the name. "Well Isobella, I'm about to kill you, is that OK?" He said, laughing a little. She looked horrified and started crying. "No, no please don't. I'm a single mother! Please!" She sobbed, but Chase wasn't having any of it. He sank in his fangs, Isobella screaming helplessly. Crimson liquid oozed from beneath Chase's fangs that were pierced into the unfortunate Isobella's neck. A trickle of blood seeped from the punctures, staining Isobella's flesh scarlet. All too soon, the body was limp and lifeless. The vampire let out a spine-chilling scream of mirth. His blood stained fangs tore at the human's neck, mangling it so severely that it dangled pointlessly on a few thin strands of sinew. Chase threw Isobella's drained body to the side, and ran off in search for another innocent life to end.
