Okay, well, this will be a fun few stories to write! They're mainly just silly, and probably OC for most of the characters, but I'm going to have fun writing it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Please R&R if you would like to make my day!
Basta was walking down one of the streets in Capricorn's Village, carrying a chest. Oh, wouldn't Capricorn be proud of him for finding the jewels that rested inside of it. Of course, Basta hadn't looked inside of it yet, but it was heavy and he had to nearly kill a few farmers to get ahold of it.
Basta walked inside of the church, groaning inwardly as he saw that Capricorn was not to be seen, only the Magpie who was yelling at a few maids.
"Where is Capricorn at?" he asked, the chest starting to feel heavier now that he had held it for so long.
"In his room, asleep! It's barely daylight and you won't be waking him up!" the Magpie hissed in a low tone, as if her very voice could be heard from there, which was quite contradictory, considering that she was just yelling her head off a few minutes ago.
"But he'll want to see this immediately! And I don't think he'd be pleased if you kept this from him until he woke up!" Basta snarled back, hoping that she would hurry up and just wake the man up.
"Fine, but if this is nothing, it'll be on your head, not mine!" With that, she scurried off.
"Thank goodness," he muttered, his hands beginning to get sweaty. The darn chest had better be worth it, though. Even the right hand man didn't want to face Capricorn's wrath. He wasn't exactly a 'morning person'. However, now that he thought about it, Capricorn wasn't exactly a happy camper at all, no matter what time of day it was.
"What do you want, Basta?" Capricorn asked him grumpily, sitting in his 'throne'.
"I finally pried this out of those old farmer's hands! It's full of treasure!" Basta said pride fully, and added as an afterthought, "Which none of the others could do."
"Open it, then," Capricorn said, interested.
Basta pried the top of it off, opening the chest to reveal…
"Soap. You woke me up to show me that you stole soap."
"I-It-I…" Basta stuttered.
Capricorn narrowed his eyes. He had to deal with burning a man's house down last night, so he didn't get as much sleep as he needed to. And now this idiot was showing him soap like it was a ruby or something.
"I told him not to wake you up unless it was important, I-" the Magpie started, hoping to get Basta into worse trouble than he obviously was.
"Basta, do you know what this means?" Capricorn asked in a calm tone, though he was furious.
Basta stared at Capricorn for a few moments after looking at the floor, which had suddenly became interesting when that event took a downfall. Finally, he had an answer, after thinking hard about it.
"You won't smell as bad?"
:) I hope you enjoyed, and yes, I know he probably wouldn't say that, but hey, it makes for a good story. –smileynoel97
