Commander Kay-Lynn Shepard thought that Saren was only after to Conduit, she was wrong. Deep into the past exists a woman … a woman of great, powerful knowledge that could shape the destinies of certain individuals and change the universe into total darkness or define it into a glorious system. The problem was that she was already dead when Saren needed her knowledge, but like all the Reapers, Sovereign had the ability to bring back one individual in a time of great need. Stolen from the Protheans the Reapers used this power to violently enslave great civilisations at the peak of their power. But how much knowledge does this one woman have that terrifies and angers both Saren and Sovereign into ripping her from her own time line into the very universe of Mass Effect?
Today's the day! At last my magnificent 18th birthday. Now mum and Steve (my step dad) can use this day to tear me away from my beautiful pride and joy. It's not my fault that Bio Ware made Mass Effect 1 and 2 so entertaining, I mean come on incredibly designed aliens; thrilling action that keeps you on your toes and not to mention the drop dead gorgeous males?
My ultimate favourites are: Garrus, Wrex and Tali. Kaiden is too much of a whiny sob story in M E 1 and then he turns into a total douche bag in M E 2 and he supposedly loves Commander Shepherd?! That's why I kill him off on Virmire, Ash is so much more kick ass and more awesome than that whiny biotic, that's why I save her ass and leave Kaiden's to barbeque next to the nuke.
I like Tali because she is loyal to the Flotilla, The Migrant Fleet and to Shepard, Wrex because he is a total badass with his lust for battle and violence just like any other Krogen and Garrus because he is drop dead gorgeous and the sweetest most attractive alien in both of the games.
"Georgia!! If you're playing on that game you can consider it going in the bin!" Charming huh well that's my mum neither her nor the rest of my family can understand my love of science- fiction. Only my friends can and they have their own lover in Mass Effect. Hannah had Thane, the dark mysterious yet sexy Drell assassin; Jodie took Urdnot Wrex, the Krogan War Lord with new ideas for their species; Gabi claimed the funny, quirky Scots man Kenneth and Logan pledged himself to Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy Nar Rayya, the adorable but intelligent Quarian.
Well in appeasement to the soon to be rampaging female Krogan downstairs I quickly got dressed in my usual garments: a purple t-shirts with rocker for life printed on in multi colour ink and some plain black leggings and denim shorts over the top. Looking in the mirror I checked my appearance to make it worthy of being seen by the family. Brown hair billowed around my shoulders as the thin strips of natural ginger poked through; pale skin that easily burns in a tropical environment; hazel eyes with a hint of mischief and freckles dotting my face. I was no goddess but I'm happy on how I look.
As I prepared myself for the onslaught of body binding, hugging creatures known as Kirby- Lea and Casey- Rea (my little cousins) I packed my bag with all the essentials consisting of spare clothes, my iPod and solar powered charger, my special camera with the Mass Effect logo printed on the case and my sketch pad littered with drawings of the characters of M E.
*Bzzzt Frizt* suddenly my TV began to flash on and off repeatedly by it self.
"Stupid glitching TV." I muttered walking to the plug socket behind the flickering TV. My favourite bracelet that had the true lettering of Mrs Garrus Vakarian, that's right MRS Garrus Vakarian so back off, with a picture of MY husband touched the screen. The next thing I knew electricity raced in my veins and white spots blinded my vision before clouding into darkness.
