Heart Over Matter
A Percy Jackson Poem Fanfiction
Hey guys! So, this is just a poem I wrote commemorating the greatest moments of Percabeth. I hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson.
Since the time they were twelve,
Deeply seeded roots were beginning to grow.
From when she first said, "You drool in your sleep,"
And he noticed her process curls,
There was no way that love would escape their grasp.
Together, that first summer, they grew together.
They became best friends.
People they knew that they could trust.
The trust only deepened.
When they were thirteen, she saved him.
From large, angry Canadians.
And they ran away to save a friend.
They saved more than just one life that summer.
That winter, this changed.
The girl, his best friend, was taken away from him.
Even when others have up, he pushed on.
He never believed that she was dead.
He wouldn't, couldn't accept that.
Reunited again, they only smiled.
"I owe you a dance," he said.
The fourth year, the girl got her chance to lead.
Striking out, she leaned things the hard way.
And yet, in the face of her best friends death, she could only think of one thing.
She kissed him.
The boy couldn't believe it.
It gave him something to fight for.
Finally, when their first war was done,
In a broader moment of peace,
They shared the best underwater kiss of all time.
Yet they couldn't have a brief rest.
The Queen of the Gods whisked him away,
Yet she couldn't stop everything fun his old life.
Hera only erased his mind.
She was in his heart.
Ok, so I realize that that was not the best, but I just felt like doing since Percy stuff.
Anyways, please review! Love y'all!
