Author's Note: He seems to be the one they left in charge back on Hueco Mundo. Man… I actually feel sorry for Hollows. Never thought I'd live to see the day.
Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach.

A word of caution is passed amongst the Hollows of Hueco Mundo when the news goes public: It would be especially wise to avoid the vicinity of Las Noches from now on. They've never really cared about who's "ruling" the planet on which they live, but really, this new guy's a lunatic.

In reality, a Hollow who returns to Hueco Mundo is often just trying to live in peace. Scratch out a living eating other Hollows in a place the Shinigami can't or won't touch, terrorizing lesser Hollows, the usual. They don't bother the other worlds if they don't have to and, in the past, the Shinigami have been content to accept that.

Not anymore, it seems.

The one called Aizen Sousuke was at least reasonable. He didn't actively seek to exterminate them or impose his views upon the populace at large. He even took the strongest of them and improved them, transforming them into his Arrancar. All Hollows sought to eat as many of their brethren as they could in the hopes of becoming one of Aizen's Arrancar—it seemed so much a better life.

Now, they flinch at the very mention of Las Noches and the Shinigami.

This new one is different. He runs his own agenda that doesn't really mesh with Seireitei and really doesn't help the Hollows much. The worst fate a Hollow can face, the residents of Hueco Mundo are beginning to realize, is to be caught by this new Shinigami. Funny. It didn't take the Quincy nearly as long to figure this one out.

Throughout the whole panic that threatens to overwhelm the desert world when realization first hits them, the message remains the same.

Hueco Mundo had better watch out.

Kurotsuchi Mayuri has come to stay.
