This takes place somtime during the gangs stay at the Western Air Temple. You can come up with your own idea of what led up to it.

On a side not did anyone else wonder why they gave Zuko a room but the rest of them slept around the campfire? It was kinda random, did he ever actuly use his room? I mean he was right there when Azula showed up.

Anyway, Please Review.

No Laughing Matter

"Well, that was unexpected."

"How the hell did this happen?"

Katara rolled onto her stomach and propped her head up in her hands. She stared at the wall and remarked quite seriously. "Sokka is going to kill us when he finds out."

Zuko sat up on the edge of the bed he flashed a strained grin at Katara. "You mean IF he finds out." He grabbed his pants and pulled them on. "I'm more worried about Aang; I mean, at least Sokka can't go into the avatar state."

"True."

"And Toph" Zuko groaned imagining unspeakable horrors. "I still have the bruises from when she repaid me for burning her feet."

"Actually Toph is probably the least of our problems."

"Huh?"

"She'll most likely find this funny."

"Oh it's way beyond funny" Toph giggled. Katara and Zukos' heads snapped in the direction of the door were Toph was starting to laugh rather loudly. In a sudden panic Zuko ran over and grabbed her clamping his hand firmly over her mouth. He peaked out into the hallway then shut the door and dragged a protesting Toph over to the bed.

"Be quiet before everyone finds out." Zuko pleaded as he released her. Toph smirked.

"Wow Sugar Queen I don't blame you he's got a really nice bod." Katara and Zuko turned bright red and Zuko quickly pulled on a shirt.

"Toph, please, don't tell anyone." Katara said reaching for her own shirt.

"Me" her sarcastic tone completely ruined the look of innocence she gave them. "Tell anyone. Katara it's like you don't know me at all." Toph shook her head disapprovingly. "Why would I ruin all the entertainment I will get from watching you two try to keep this a secret."

Zuko started to leave. "I should go before someone else wakes up and finds us in here."

"Can I make a suggestion?" Toph asked. Zuko turned to look at her. "It might look less suspicious if Katara was the one to go back to the campfire and you were the one who stayed here." She swallowed a grin. "After all this is your room." Zuko hit himself in the forehead and let out a long sigh.

"Thank you Toph."

"Anytime lovebirds." She slid off the bed with a smile and headed out the door. "Anytime."
