A Single Glance

Synopsis: Bella had no precognition that Edward was going to become such a monumental part of her existence. Who could ever foresee such a wonder? Bella hardly knew it the moment she caught the eyes of a handsome boy with the green eyes.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Stephenie Meyer or the Twilight Saga. This is merely a manipulation of characters. This will be the only time throughout this story that I will acknowledge this fact.

Sometimes, when you meet someone, you get the strange sensation that you've known them your entire life. Sometimes, when you've made eye contact with someone for the first time, you hold it. For a short moment, you stare because it's not that you've ever met them before, but it's the sensation that you will know them. That they will become a part of you, that you will come to know everything about them. A single glance. And in another short moment, it can end.

How will we ever know whether these things are preconceived? How are we to know, if when meeting someone, that they'll be engraved into our lives, threaded through our veins and instilled in our minds?
