"Ushio!" I heard my daddy call. "Daddy!" I made a swift dash for the bakery. I could smell the crisp, delicious smell of bread. Dad was waiting at the door, waiting for my arrival. "How was school, Ushio?" Asked dad. "It was good! I went riding on Boton, Kyou's boar!" Mommy slowly walked beside daddy. "Hello, Ushio!" "Hi mommy!" I said, cheerfully. "Tomoya, I need to talk to you for a second." Said mommy. "Ok. Ushio, daddy and mommy will be back soon. How about you go play in the cherry blossom trees for a while?" "Ok!" I said a smile swept across my face. I was going to turn 6 soon! All I wanted for my birthday was a dango plushy, and to have a day with daddy and mommy. I look up to the pale cherry blossoms, and their fragile petals falling slowly to the ground. I gripped onto the hard, flaky bark and climbed my way up. I sat on a branch, and found my robot toy stuck in the tree. "Hey, robo! I was looking for you!" I had lost my robot yesterday! I must have left him up here. Luckily it didn't rain. I stood up with caution, and reached for my robot. I made a safe return with the robot in my arms. I saw daddy approaching the door. "Ushio! Come give daddy your backpack!" Called dad. "I'm up here! And I found robot!" I raised my voice when I saw him. "Good! It took forever to find it in that field of flowers, I didn't want you to lose it!" He said with his cheerful smile. His eyes were beautiful and sparkling. No wonder mommy fell in love with him! "Come inside, Ushio!" He called.

That was the last of my foggy dream as I heard the "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" of my alarm clock. It was my first day as a senior. I dragged myself out of bed. Mom greeted me. "Good morning, Ushio. I left the eggs on the counter if you want to make some." "Ok, thanks." I replied. I dragged myself to the stove, the eggs were in their carton, right next to it. I gripped the lid, and opened the carton. I drowsily reached up to get a pan, and put it ontop of the stove. I turned on the gas, my brain still trying to adjust to reality. Going on holidays really numbs your mind. I cracked an egg on the side, and dropped in the whites and the yolk. I watched it sizzle and pop, and eventually both of my eggs were done. I gulped down my breakfast, got changed and brushed my teeth in what seemed like hours. "Seeya later, Ushio." Said dad. "I'll see you in the afternoon!" I said with a smile on my face. "Bye, sweetie!" Said mom. I stepped out of the door, and prepared for the day ahead.
