The dark nights seemed to fall together. Although night was once different from day, it no longer was. They both seemed to run together, no distinct sun and no distinct moon, just existence. This existence no longer satisfied my hunger, my drive, I needed something better.

Walking through the dark nights as I usually did had no more satisfaction. I changed my views from the park in front of me and glanced at the stars. They were glowing beautifully, you could see them better out here in the country, I rarely got to see them in the city.

I felt as if I wasn't alone, but didn't care what no one was going to do anything to me. I knew most people that hung outside at this time off night, but the scent of this person was unfamiliar. I attuned myself to the world around me rather than the stars, and that's when I heard the deep growl.

I thought to myself that it was only a dog, wild or tame as long as it wasn't a wolf. I glanced around at my surroundings and saw nothing, so I started listening more closely and heard a rustling that wasn't an animal, wild or not. I walked to the nearest bush and pulled from it a boy.

He pulled back his lips to show his fangs, and started to snap and snarl at me. I grabbed his throat so he would stop attacking and lifted up his mid-length jet black hair. On the back of his neck was tattooed σκοτεινός.

"How long have you been following me?" I added a deep growl.

"Who says I've been following you?" his eyes turned a deep burgundy as I reached my mind into his, but it was blocked, no one has ever been known to be able to block me, so who could be strong enough know?
